The Shoals is very idyllic and cozy! I lived there for 41+ years. I love going home to visit, but 3 days is my limit! Then it’s time to get back to Texas! 💫🫶🏻

Something about campus squirrels... no chill. I would regularly see squirrels with whole ass slices of pizza running around Univ of South Carolina.
The lion in the campus is INSANE. Made me kinda sad😅
insane! only a few campuses (thank god) have live mascots on campus anymore. Leo has been wonderfully taken care of but i’m glad it’s not as normalized as it was when they first started in 1974 🫠 he’s the 3rd but i hope they don’t replace him 💜

yes Florence is much much friendlier than some small towns! it’s of course still a small southern town 🫠 but all i ever saw/ experienced with my POC friends was love. the university definitely helps bring diversity but Florence as a town is one of the good ones 🫶🏻
