Glad you’re back to it, Ash! Crazy how Covid affects so many people differently. We had it back in March. My two kids had it for 2 days, and it was like a mild cold. My wife had symptoms for about a week, like a bad cold, and she lost her senses of taste and smell for about 3 days. I made sure to wear the fragrances she hates during that time! I tested positive too but was asymptomatic. Just a little more tired than usual. Anyway, thanks for the review Ash. You da man. 🤘
Hi Ash, did you ever try or review Cool Water Grapefruit and Sage? It was a limited release that came out a couple of moths ago. Happy to hear you are feeling better.
I know one girl for whom it may be permanent. It's been nearly two years for her. Crazy. Mine seemed to be bettered by switching to a ketogenic diet and adding lots of anti-inflammatories... and other meds. But who knows?! It seemed to abbreviate the symptoms in my cases at least. I feel deeply for those ones.
Ash I respectfully must disagree with you on this one. I just got a bottle of Reborn and I find it to be the best of the Cool Water flankers. I absolutely LOVE it!
when I got the Rona I lost my sense of smell as well… was spraying all sorts of heavy stuff just trying to get a tinge of a whiff… thankfully it did come back but it was rough… glad you’re back too!
When it said reborn I was hoping they were going to put out the Original Scent with longevity. Because they've watered it and changed it over the years and it's not as good as it used to be.
oh they want never bring back the original formula because a lot of the notes that were in it were probably banned over the years thats why a lot of fragrances get reformulated over the years
To me Reborn is not just divisive but actually challenging. I wouldn't say boring though, maybe slightly interesting because of the challenging aspect, but imho not at all mass appealing for sure. PS. Also got CV19 in June while in Madrid, but for me fortunately it was only a runny nose and minor cough for a few days, never lost sense of smell at all. Three shots of the Pfizer vaccine in the past likely helped with that. Speaking of CV19, must say got into the hobby of smelling fragrances very often partially because of CV19. That was back in early 2020, noone knew much about CV19 yet, there was the known possibility of losing our sense of smell, and it wasn't clear whether some degree of that loss could be definite. Sounded to me quite bad enough anyway, made me think of the movie Perfect Sense. So wanted to smell as many things as possible in as short a time as possible just in case, and so here we are. Habits developed: checking smells whenever possible, and checking Fragrance youtubers still of course :)
And cool water intense is another version of Versace Eros I knew it the first time I put my nose on it from the opening to the mid and dry down all the way still a good Blind buy
I get a eros , cool water , invictus allcmixed together sorta vibe i dont mind it , its fresh its clean its modern its just ok especially for the prixe i paid at dixounters $27 i cant complain
Was hoping for more with this. Having grown up when Cool Water was at its peak, I was hoping they would smash that modern reinterpretation out of the park.
When I got Covid condiments had this very rotten smell and feeling on top of my nose. After a month of Covid and finally able to eat ketchup and mayo I smelled Date by Fragrance One and it gave me PTSD. For a month or two Date smelled like Covid. Terre D'hermes Eau Intense Vetiver also had that Covid smell on the dry down 😬 Date smells normal now. Still scared to smell Intense Vetiver.
The last thing i was able to smell was Stronger with you Intensly, unfortunately my sense of smell is still a bit off after 10 months.. everything smells a little cheap..even the good stuff.
I actually don't care for note breakdowns from the manufacturer. They are frequently not correct and I'd rather my nose tell me rather than taking a salesman's word for it.
2nd time covid. 1st time I was one of 20 people that made out alive. I was on the not gonna make it list. Somehow I did. Now I got it again last week, aug 2022. And again, I cant smell a thing. Just got Issey Bleu Dissey and I cant enjoy it. Waiting for the smellto return.
Dude when I lost my smell to vid the first time I was like crying because I couldn’t smell and even now my signature scents I could not smell the same and the second time it happens a year later I was so scared it was gonna happen again but it dint thank the lord

Never heard of it, will definitely give it a try.
Just got it at Marshall's $25 I have not worn it but it smells really nice
I have it. It’s great and long lasting for an affordable price.
Cooldown smells like a diluted version of Cool Water Intense
Davidoff is that house I’m not too interested in, but then they’ll release something quirky that piques my interest 🤣
Wish you doing well mate..i know ppl that had it and they haven't gotten there taste or smell back for months

Welcome back! I'm glad you got your sense of smell back.
Missed a trick Ash, you should have done a Top 10 best tasting fragrances video while the nose was on vacation 👌 😋
Currently having covid for the last 7 days and iam happy to report that i have not lost my sense of smell at any point of it! :D
hope you get to feeling better
Intro gave me Space Ball vibes when they went to watch the movie. lol
For those who don't get the reference search for "Spaceballs now".
My sense of smell was affected by COVID too. I didn’t fully lose it but it did weaken A LOT and for me it lasted over a month
when I got the Rona I lost my sense of smell as well… was spraying all sorts of heavy stuff just trying to get a tinge of a whiff… thankfully it did come back but it was rough… glad you’re back too!
Great first impressions video and I enjoyed it and can you do a full review when you test it out and have a blessed day
What about the new grapefruit and sage release

The only scent I could faintly smell when I had “it” was vanilla
Appreciate the take Ash. Still kicking myself for not picking up Summer Fizz when it was available. Suddenly I'm into kiwi and mint this summer?
I'm glad you're feeling better and that you're sense of smell returned 🙂

In my opinion they're only mentioning 3 notes to avoid mentioning notes which might turn some people off.
Mate of mine got the rona last September and hasn't been able to smell anything since 🙃
Outrageous!
@@pradeep_sekar bonkers
Saya suka wangi cool water, tp wanginya hanya bertahan sebentar. Malah yg refill yg lebih tahan lama.
I lost my sense of smell for 2 weeks. Really weird feeling!
CW parfum is a great scent. It lasts all day and smells awesome. 👀
First day I lost smell due to covid, two weeks ago, the only thing I could smell faintly (and distorted) was Shaghaf Oud by Swiss Arabian.
I lost my sense of smell too but fortunately regained it soon afterwards
I loved it. More than the cool water EDT
cool water intense , smells like something I wore back in the day alot , I.cant remember what it's a clone of?

Ash, did you lose your sense of smell after a PCR nasal swab ?

My smell has been messed up since November 2020. Can't smel fragrances properly or anything else either. It's awful.

My nose is still not working... 3 days and counting 😢
smells good
Reminds me of grapefruit
you shouldve put this video on your main channel 🤦🏽♂️
I can only see this as a office Christmas gift.

smells like dylan blue to me idk
This one smells horrible, I had to scrub it off. The worst cool water for sure.
Who buys $75 Cool Water?
Bare in mind these channels get paid to say certain things about the colognes
Not vaccinated, lost my sense of smell for about 3 hours.
Tried it today. Dirt.
Can so tell your not at all into this lol
