On the hook I have a make-along shawl that started during the Olympics (lol), a blanket that is missing 60 cm of trim (but I *finally* got the yarn to finish it!), and a beautiful Lord of the Rings themed shawl that I've used way too much yarn on and I am fine with that! On deck when these are done (and maybe sliding in before Goldberry...) I finally got some chunky yarn so I can do the Kima Cardi! I got a gorgeous wooden hook a month or so ago, so this project is finally coming together. So excited to get her on my hook and on me soon after!
I've been crocheting for 50 years and I love seeing how crochet is really coming into its own these days. I love bright colors in general but I have a big soft spot for anything in a teal-y blue. Love your channel, Toni you are amazing!

I’m Susan from Dallas. I returned to crochet about five years ago. How did I get through the decades without it?! I love those ocean blues and greens with a little sand in my toes. Your post at Marblehead took me back to when we vacationed up there with the kids during hubs grad school days. Keep up the inspiration - you are appreciated.

I'm Grace and I'm from this little island in the Pacific called Guam. I am a current crocheter but I have so much left to learn and looking forward to every second of it. I love blues, neutrals, and warm colors. I actually took a break from crocheting because I just got swamped with university work, but sitting down and watching your videos made me miss it and now I find that crocheting helps me unwind from a long day and helps me focus on lectures during class time (don't worry, my professor supports it~). Thank you for everything you've done Toni, you're wonderful and beautiful and strong and I wish you the very best!
My name is Hannah, I am a current crocheter but I also try to knit sometimes. I started crocheting almost a year ago and also learned Tunisian crochet recently and your videos have helped me a lot! My favourite colours are blues, whites/greys and other fall colours. 😊
Hello there, my name is Liza, and I'm from South Africa. I taught myself how to crochet when I saw all the beautiful boho chic, granny square blankets, that were in style at the time. I just had to make one. My favorite colors are definitely dirty pinks and mauvy purples, a splash of sunshine yellow, and a hint of rainy day gray. Thank you Tony for sharing your passion for crochet and fiber arts!! With love xx
I’m Ashley, my grandma taught me how to crochet when I was 8 years old. Within the two years I started up again and have made baby blankets for my two girls and my friends kids. Now that I’ve mastered blankets I am excited to start making other crochet projects other than blankets. Currently I am making fall crochet decoration pumpkins. My current favorite color is rust orange.
Hi Toni! Nice to meet you, I'm Kelly. No joke, my great grandmother taught me the basics of crochet when I was little. She lived to be 100 and I wish she was around today so I could show her how much I know now! I'm sure she's with me in spirit. My favorite colors to work with are pinks, purples and blues. Thanks!
I’m Candy, and I’ve been crocheting for several years. I have such a weakness for shawl patterns, post stitches, gradients, and fingering weight yarns. My favorite color is green- specifically that rich, vibrant, multi-hued green you see when you’re walking in the woods and you look up at the sun streaming through the leaves above you.
Because of you I spent WAY too much money today at WAK. I’m a crocheter self taught mainly by you and have used crochet as I heal from two cancers and a stem cell transplant. You have brought me much joy over the last few years. I’m going to attempt knitting a blanket from WAK but also purchased your scarf kit. My favorite colors are neutrals, greens and purples. You are the greatest and I thank you for sharing all that you are with us makers.
Hi Toni! I'm Mary Ellen and I was mesmerized watching how fast you crochet! I currently crochet (6yrs) and I love greens and blues. Thanks for your generosity and for teaching me so much!
In December of 2019, I started learning how to knit. Made a hat and scarf. Then 2020 happened and I became to stressed to continue learning to knit. After more than 40 years, I went back to crocheting which is so soothing. Oh, and I bought the same type of hooks-gorgeous. Favorite color is orange. Love, love your tutorials😊

I'm Alex from Canada. I actually learned how to crochet this spring after finding your videos on RUclips! I have known how to knit for years but I was always fascinated by how beautiful & varied different crochet stitches look... finding your videos gave me the push I needed to pick up some hooks and learn! I've been loving pastel colours recently & I swear this is the truth, I can't think of any colour I like more than the Catalina colourway from your Sunsoaked collection! (I was out of work at the time so I didn't buy any & I would love a second chance to get some 😍) I also just wanted to say how glad I am to have found your channel, you so clearly love crochet & I love the vibe in your videos 😊.
Hey, I'm Kara. Long time knitter, past few years I have been crocheting too. I love to combine the skills into projects. I love your jokes!!!!! Thank you for all the yarn reviews and information on what fibers work with what tools. I love dark greens. Your Suri coloring choosing Shaul was all of my comfort zone colors. You have pushed me to work with more neutrals and peachy colors. Thank you for everything! PS Have you ever thought about a mystery crochet along? As you can see from all your comments here you have a huge following and I would love to see this community dive into one together. You're the best!!! Pet that cuddly cat for me!!

I'm Megan, and I've been crocheting for about a year now after trying to learn (unsuccessfully) as a kid. I've made a bunch of your patterns thanks to your amazing video tutorials, and I've really impressed my grandma who's been crocheting for decades, so that's pretty high praise! It's too hard to just choose one favorite color, but I'm a sucker for pastels.
My name is Maddie and I am a lockdown crocheter. I just started crochet in the last few months as I needed to do something while my city was shutdown due to covid again. My favourite colour is duck egg blue, eucalyptus green, and dusty pink.
My name is Edna. I learned to knit the basics as a child but haven’t done anything since. I learned to crochet last year from watching You Tube channels and a lot of help from seasoned coworkers who knit and crochet. I recently finished my first baby blanket in a Suzette stitch. I gifted it to the lady who motivated me to these new hobbies: knitting & crocheting. I came across your You Tube channel & and saw your Tunisian crochet tutorials. After seeing your reviews on Tunisian crochet hooks, I purchased the Denise interchangeable needles set , but not sure if I like the feel of them yet. My favorite color is blue, but with so many beautiful yarn colours to choose from it makes it hard.Thank you and stay safe!
I'm Sarah and I have been crocheting with my mother since I was a kid so about fifteen years. I live in New York and love greens and blues. I have been using your crochet academy videos to better my work and oh my gosh its amazing. Thank you for your creativity and insight.

Hi! My name is Melissa, and I so adore your videos! I have NEVER knitted in my life, but have been in search to learn how to begin in this journey. Thank you for creating this space you have for all the curious newbies like myself. I grew up in IN where we have 4 seasons, Fall being my most absolute favorite with all the beautiful fall shades but for the past 15yrs, Dallas, TX has been my home. Although we get a short fall period, seeing the warm colors of golden browns, reddish purples, and yellowish oranges are still my faves! Thanks again for sharing "YOU" in this space.

Excited to get started on that! Love your YT channel! I love earthtone colors. Day 2 video section: Wow you are so beautiful without makeup! I've got to tell you girl your natural beauty rocks! I know makeup is the way presenters feel the need to go - yet your natural beauty surpasses any makeup attempts to look 'pretty'.

Hi Toni. I'm Sarah. I've been crocheting on and off for about 40 years (good Lord, has it been that long? Lol) but have only recently begun to explore more intricate patterns, higher end yarns, and my current passion - different types of hooks and accessories. I had no idea when my Dad taught me to crochet all of those years ago, that it would become my passion. Thank you so much for supporting this passion with your knowledge, your kindness, and your seemingly never-ending energy. My favorite colour is currently a nice warm chocolate brown. Thanks again Toni. Hope you are staying safe.

Now retired I’ve picked it up again and your crochet academy resulted in multiple Kimas on my hook! I’m wearable addicted now! My fav colors for myself are black, gray, with touch of white. But the blues and aquas give me life! Keep your passion! ❤️

This is probably one of my favorite videos you've done. I know it was a little of everything but I absolutely loved it. Please do more of these. I've been binge watching your vids for the past couple of days trying to catch up on the ones I've missed. I loved sitting here crocheting my project while watching you do yours lol. My name is Tarin, I've been crocheting for about 3 months now, and have managed to come a long way in that time. My all time favorite colors are a pastel pink and pastel green (especially together) You were the first RUclips creator I found when teaching myself how to crochet, and I've been binging your videos ever since. Hi. I am Claudia in Germany. We were thought crocheting and knitting at school in the early 60s. I put the skills to rest for over 50 years. I picked both up again about 10 years ago and I do baby blankets and scarves all year for children in Romania. It depends on the yarn what I do with it. You tube tutorials really helped me a great deal to become more creative. Currently, I am crocheting a scrap blanket.
We are in lockdown in Auckland NZ entering our 6th week. I love to crochet and was looking on You tube for a project. I stumbled across your tutorial for beginners in tunisian crochet, I fell in love and are currently making a braided ear warmer and have made two other ear warmers to practice different tunisian crochet stitches. You have reignited my love to crochet, thank you so much. My favourite colours are blue hues.
Hi I’m Bernadette, a left handed crocheter. I first learned how to crochet as a child from my aunt, stopped as a teen, and picked it up again about 3 years ago. Currently working on a shawl for myself in a metallic dark blue which, with purple, are two of my favorite colors. You’ve inspired me to learn Tunisian crochet this winter. Love your tutorials and yarn reviews!
Hello, I've been crocheting since 2011. My children learned it from a friend that was taking care of them while I was deployed then they taught me. I fell in love with. My favorite color is a wine color, burgundy type color. Love your videos. Thank you for your patterns.
I am making a twisted headband and listened to you the whole time making it and you are awesome! Made me feel confident in my work and not stupid at getting excited about yarns haha

Hi.....I've been crochet for more years than I think I want to say....LOL...Many. I'm a self taught knitter and just recently joined We are Knitters newsletter. I enjoy browsing thru their website. I'm not a "color" person. My favorite color is black but if I must say a "color" lets say GRAY....LOL I so enjoy watching you. I recently purchased your yarn from Sewrella. You taught me how to work tunisian stitches. I did make a ear warmer. I purchased a pattern from your website for the yarn I bought but it's so beautiful I'm afraid to ruin it. Thanks for all of your tutorials.
I'm Cindy, from California. I learned to crochet by watching RUclips videos (yours, of course and Bella Coco) last summer during lockdown. I put crochet projects on pause in April to learn to knit (again, from RUclips). My favorite color is all the blues!
I’m Kate from southern Illinois. My father taught me to knit when I was 6 (59 years ago) and became obsessed with all things fiber/fabric. My favorite colors are: medium dark blue-teal, peacock blue and berry purples. Your patterns are always delightful 🙂

Hi Toni! I'm Jenn, I'm a new crocheter - I took it upon myself to finally learn how to crochet around a month ago and I'm already obsessed! My name is Emily, and I am a beginner at crochet, but loving every single moment of doing it! My favourite colour is that of a strong beautiful blue, like a hummingbird blue! I’ve been watching many of your videos as well, so I’m so excited!
Oh Toni, I was so delighted when you said that you were excepting international crocheters! I often feel that I am missing out on so much when I can’t afford the shipping costs to UK. I’ve crocheted most of my life but now have health issues (neurologically) and undertook your crochet course this summer (can’t afford shipping costs to have the pin!). So yes this offer is great. Mainly sticking with beginners to intermediate patterns. The Omar scarf is wonderful 💕💕💕 colour wise, there’s just so many beautiful colours to choose from, but I tend to like your colour choices…champagne, can’t remember the other names of colours that you said 🤯, but that’s my usual state. So thank you for this and congratulations to whoever wins 💕💕
Hi! I'm Tamara and I have been crocheting for a little over 2 years now, and absolutely love trying/designing patterns. There's something about creating and finishing a project that really brings me joy :). And my favorite color is sky blue! Thank you for your videos! I always love how honest and real you are about everything you review, and discuss!

Hi Toni, I'm Julia and I've been crocheting since sixth grade. I've had many on and off years, but never lost the crochet fever. Love your design and cold choices. I don't have a favorite color, because I just love colors. However, I tend to lean towards green shades. Thanks for hosting this give away.
Hello, I'm Owl, longtime crocheter and lover of your channel. 1) I'm always so impressed by how quickly other folks can crochet. I know there's a lot of factors that go into project speed, but seeing you knock out a project like that in a day is really cool. 2) My favorite color changes a lot. At the moment I'm really feeling a warm, dark mauve, like if plum and brown had a color baby. I'm just really loving some good autumnal colors.
Hi I’m Gigi I’m a knitter and beginner crocheter. I’m just starting to get involved in the knit/crochet corner of RUclips and you were the first creator I came across and I love your videos ❤️ Also my favorite color is light pink with white or a dark royal purple with black
Hi, Renée. I am a knitter who while attending a conference in Philly I saw Tunisian crochet being taught on a craft show. Went right out to a yarn store and brought yarn and Tunisian hook. Went back to the hotel and started watching youtube videos. I love the color you used. Tans and blues.
I'm Susie and I started learning crochet when I was eight, ( still learning). At 19 I taught myself to knit, had to give that up a few years ago because of arthritis. So now I'm strictly crochet. i love this video, so fun!! I taught myself to crochet as a kid but have not advanced much (but I want to!) I love deep yellow and turquoise! thank you!
Hi Toni I've been crocheting for most of my life. I also knit and sew. When it comes to yarn, I really don't have any specific favorite color. When I buy yarn, I just buy what appeals to me at that moment. For wearables though, I do favor muted colors and neutras like gray and beige and navy. I really enjoyed this podcast. It felt like having company and spending the day with a good friend. You are so down to earth and relatable.
Hi Toni! I’m Cindy from CT and I’m a current crocheter. I’m working on an Adore Shawl right now. It’s one of my favorite patterns of yours. So comfortable to wear! My favorite colors are blues, greens and yellows. BTW, you’re AWESOME! Have a great day! 💕

I am a relatively new crocheter ... about 4 months now ;-) I'm haven't had a change to really explore the world of colour in yarns, but I love the blue and greens found in water and the forest. (Thank you for the inspiration !!)
I’m Kacie, a current crocheter, a new subscriber, and my favorite color is lavender! I really love how you included something you liked and something you thought we are knitters could work on at the end of the video. I find it hard to trust youtubers sometimes to give an honest opinion but it’s refreshing to see someone so genuine!
i love when you crochet and hang with the cat!! love we are knitters. they make the best pink but i really love their melon/rust tones. i'm Kathy and i hope to start a channel and focus on plus size crochet designs. thanks for all you do. i love the yarn snob videos too
Hi Toni! I started crocheting in February 2021 after taking a 55 year break lol! :) At that time, I started seeking video tutorials and I discovered you on RUclips and I've become dependent on your yarn snob reviews, new patterns, tunisian crochet tutoriasl, and crochet hook reviews. Because of you, I have purchased the Denise Tunisian Interchangeable Crochet Hook Set and am learning how to use them through your videos. At this moment, my favorite color is ivory/off white. Thanks for all you do!
I'm Aileen, a current crocheter, who picked up a hook again 3 years ago after only having made one crochet beanie as a Girl Scout like 40-ish years ago. I've mainly stuck to acrylics and cottons, but am starting to venture into wool and wool blends. On my hook right now is one last Merci Cloth to go into a gift basket thanks to your Tunisian crochet tutorials. I love all colors, but my favorite is definitely a deep red-purple. Love your channel, and I can't wait to see your Tunisian crochet book!

I'm working on a baby blanket. For some reason I can't post a public comment, that's why I am posting as a reply here lol
I am workin on two scarfs(one of them is the mesa scarf) and one cowl

I’m Gray and I started crocheting at the beginning of this year-largely thanks to your tutorials! My favorite color is magpie black. That is, any black that has shades of blues, greens, or purples hidden inside.
71 years old and I learned a lot from that TV series, loved it. Happy crochet
Hi, Ginny here. Love the Ozo scarf you made. I’m crocheting pumpkins 🎃, all sizes, all colors. I love blues, the aquamarine is lovely. I’ve never used the We are Knitters yarn . Thank you for all your great tutorials.

I'm Denise, currently a crocheter. I learned many years ago then stopped for a while. I started again 2 years ago. My favourite colours are any combination of purple, red, and blue. ❤️💜💙
Jess here, and a crocheter for about eleven years now. Favorite colors are deep greens (spruce, hunter, emerald) and teals! My college roommate taught me the basics and then introduced me to how YT could be an invaluable resource for learning. Eleven years later and I'm still learning and loving, and always thankful it brought me to your channel!
My name is mandie, I've been crocheting since I was about 10 years old, so that's 18 years! I was taught by my late grandmother. I'm currently working on a tunisian triangle shawl, I never thought I could do one but since watching your channel I'm finding it very easy to do it now! my favorite color is jewel tone colors and purple.
I’m Evan, and I’ve been crocheting since the start of the pandemic. My favourite colour is green, all shades of it! Right now I’m especially loving those calm olive and sage shades
I truly enjoyed this crochet-with-me combined with a giveaway and Netflix reviews, plus…♥️
I really love how even your kitty was just watching you craft for a little bit.
Hi I'm April from California. I have been crocheting and knitting for 40 years on and off. My Grandmothers taught me and my Mom was a talented knitter. Hello I'm Dina and I'm a current crocheter! My favorite color is like a matte forest green, but if the color is earth tone I absolutely love it. Thank you for everything Toni. Your channel, blog, and academy are all so inspiring and really helped push me out of my comfort zone to grow as a fiber artist this past year.
Hello, my name is Lee and I am a very slow knitter and even slower crocher . I’ve been knitting for over 30 years and I taught myself how to crochet about 3 years ago. Hi Toni! I am 70 yr old grandma who loves to crochet. I so enjoy watching your videos and have gotten so many good tips on yummy yarns from you. Thank you for sharing your talent with us! I am into yarns that have a melange heather heather look to them. My current favorite is purple/lavender.

Love love love your channel. I've caught myself watching it for hours, video after video.
It took me a while to find you on RUclips but I am so glad you did. I love watching your recent and older videos, as you keep it real.

Right now I've been going crazy with loop yarn...making blankets at the park then gifting them to random strangers (gifted 6 so far👏👏🌄). Anyway, excited to try my hand at crocheting and learning what I can. Thanks for what you do.

I’m Susan and have started crocheting as a young teenager and started knitting about ten years ago. I switch back & forth and have a couple projects of each going at a time. I love to experiment with colors & combinations of colors. I love your enthusiasm!
Hi Toni! Love your videos! I learned to crochet young and tried a few projects but stopped because you know, kids, job, life. Now retired I’ve picked it up again and your crochet academy resulted in multiple Kimas on my hook! I’m wearable addicted now! My fav colors for myself are black, gray, with touch of white. But the blues and aquas give me life! Keep your passion! ❤️
Hi! I'm Betty and I picked up crocheting and knitting to kill time during chemo treatments 3 years ago. I just finished my first cardigan for my mom's Christmas gift. So exciting! I love earth tones and muted colors.
This is probably one of my favorite videos you've done. I know it was a little of everything but I absolutely loved it. Please do more of these. I've been binge watching your vids for the past couple of days trying to catch up on the ones I've missed. I loved sitting here crocheting my project while watching you do yours lol.
Hi, I'm Angela and I love your channel! I have been crocheting for close to 2 decades! It was on and off for a while but the last 5 has been non stop crocheting. I've never really had one favorite color but I really love rich greens and blues!
Taught myself to crochet (with fine tuning from my Aunt) when 7 and am still excited about adding to my know, edge and skills.

So far I've been making ear warmers, hats, scarves, I just finished my first pair of mittens over the weekend, and I can't wait to get into some bigger projects like shawls and cardigans (I've had my eye on the flatiron shawl and Veronica cardi for a while). My favourite colour is purple, I love dark aubergine, and I'm also a sucker for slate and charcoal grey. Thank you for your amazing videos, I've learned so much from you already and I can't wait to learn more!
Currently I'm scouting out patterns for a pullover or sweater. I really like red! Thank you for your excellent tutorials and patterns Toni!
I’m just starting to get involved in the knit/crochet corner of RUclips and you were the first creator I came across and I love your videos ❤️
Also my favorite color is light pink with white or a dark royal purple with black
My favorite colors are pinks, purples, and reds. Sometimes all together. Congratulations on 300, keep going
i love this video, so fun!!
I have been watching you for awhile and I love your videos. My favorite color is rust. Congratulations on your continued success launching your own brand. Enjoy seeing you on PBS. I have been crocheting since I was 9 years old, over fifty years.
