Id imagine it is nothing like it. I have raced cars on track, but when you drive in a game sim its just not the same. Now considering the effects and forces you feel in a jet, I imagine it would be nothing at all like it...
Great video, thanks for taking the time to make it. Mover made some great points on another video about the g blackout effects being unrealistic to the point that he turned them off.
So hard to get used to head tracking and really getting a sense of where the enemy is and having good spacial awareness. Use of the HMD can help in maintaining a "feel" for your speed.
I can’t fly without head trackers anymore; being able to look around with my head instead of the mouse is just too good to pass up when you fly sims for your primary game lol
He used thrustmaster but don’t buy that, it’s over priced foe what it is. If you want good gear go with Virpil that’s top of the line. If you’re on a budget vkb and winwing are the top choices but winwing are just a Chinese thrustmaster
From an actual pilot, do you feel like you're back in the cockpit minus the g factor? Thanks for the videos man!

@greaser3069 I figured that much. A sim vs real life experience must be night and day different.

Great stuff. Great watching and the narration is great. “Airborne, All The Way!”
Every time the mig gonna duck below the layer, I'm biting my nails and screaming "lift vector and vertical scan!"

@@RealBelisariusCawl I started with thumb joystick view. Went to head tracking. Now I'm using VR and it gives a better sense of spacial awareness.
@@tacticaltoolbox7046 I can imagine! I haven’t upgraded to VR for a combo of poverty and a desire to not spoil myself for games that can’t support it.
Mr. Max, any tips on aerobreaking in DCS? I am struggling holding 11-13 units upon touching down. Please and thank you sir! 🤝🏾
Absolute badass! Love it!
What hotas you using? I’m using a cheap joystick from like the 90s right now and figure it’s about time to upgrade and figured i might as well go big.

Lose the sight lose the fight
Love the dcs content
nice flying!
los felicito y admiro mucho muchos éxitos 💜💜💜
Before entering clouds, why not radar lock him?
Happy Thursday.
Lose sight, lose fight.
You gotta drink about 350ml of stoli vodka to be on the same footing as a Russian fighter pilot, also, you can be my wingman any time.
DCS has g-warmup modeled...just pull a couple of 90s at 5gs and you'll be able to handle high g's better
Flankers are Sukhois… migs are fulcrums
DCS has the G effect where you need to do G exercises like IRL first so your pilot handles G's better just FYI
BOOM...C YA 🤣 love it
Are you flying against real people or are they bots?
These are currently against AI
You need ATAGS!
Actually the thrust to weight in MiG-29 is better. If he was set to more weapons and fuel that’s a different situation
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
