    You saved me $500 for my wife's 2015 toyota Carolla. It was painless and a damn shame how my local mechanic tried to charge me 10x the price of the part. #MuchLove❤ #MaximumAppreciation🙏🏾

    Glad i was able to find this video so easy. The fan on my 2011 is still working but i did notice that it started to whine earlier this week. So now I am starting to think it may be nearing the end of its lifespan. Just needed to confirm that it was a fix that is within my DIY range. Bookmarked the video so I can rewatch when I get the part in and decide to make the swap.

    I plan to replace it soon for the same reason, but thanks for showing where it was... used to have to nail a pothole to get it to start blowing harder than a baby blowing out a candle. That wasn't working anymore, and after giving the base a few smacks it started spinning again.

      Haha. That’s what I went through giving a swift kick every once in a while. I was definitely much happier and cooler after I swapped it out. Have a great summer and stay cool, hahaha.

      @@Farm10customs need it in Texas, was only catching the tiniest amount of AC from the blower barely going. At least have a temporary fix while I wait on a replacement to be delivered, and thankfully not too expensive. Thanks for the vid, saved me a trip to the shop.

    These are 200 bucks at local auto store. That’s insane. I’d be fine with the 40 Amazon part?

      @Farm10customs  3 месяца назад +3

      Right. I’m sure the more expensive part is better, but If you’re okay with the cheep part then you can save a lot of coins. Thanks for watching, my friend.

      Hmmmm. It’s possible the contacts in the fan relay are sticking. It might be worth replacing the fan relay. I hope this helps. Thanks for your question and thanks for watching

    Think i could refurbish the original while running a replacement a few days?

    • @Farm10customs
      @Farm10customs  3 месяца назад +1

      Maybe. I had pulled mine out and shot some oil in around the bearings/bushings. But use something that smells good. Hahaha. Mine had collected condensation and had some rust in there. You might get some extra life out of it. Good luck my friend

    Good video I have to replace mine. I do have a question that when ordering these. When ordering them it says one of two either with automatic switch or manual switching, the one you bought judging from your temperature dials is the manual one correct? I have the digital buttons so that would be automatic I order correct?

    • @Farm10customs
      @Farm10customs  5 месяцев назад +2

      I’m guessing that you are right. Yes mine is manual control. That’s funny because I never came across that option when I ordered. I just got lucky I guess. Good luck my friend and thank you for watching.
