Remove the side panel on the left pull away right side from the radio. remove panel on the bottom of the radio. remove all screws to remove the radio. remove screws holding the heater control. transfer heater control, cif plug, airbag switch to the new bazel, connect wire harness to the radio plug, reinstall

Did you hook up the stearing wheel controls and how did u do the usb for the Apple car play ?

No we didn't but you can use METRA aswc1 module for the steering wheel control
