Except you have to get pretty far into the game to do this fight as far as I know you don’t get to the ability to reload it. So for those who want to 100% the achievements, it would be a nightmare.
@@BlueGriffin20 true, but there are lots of games that have this or won’t let you redo bossfights. I personally just make a copy save or close the game before defeat if I wanted to retry, but that does seem tedious.
On my first play though I was like wait, this can't be the end boss already! Haha, I ended up really liking how you got to face him multiple times to warm you up for an absolutely epic final showdown!
I took damage the first time I fought him, but what happens in that sequence is set in stone no matter how well you fight him. Vahram always wins and sends Sargon into the Depths.

I get you’re supposed to lose to advance the story, but they could’ve given a little acknowledgement for the grueling achievement, like…an achievement

That would be fire. They should have a Vahram mode where you can play through the game as Vahram like how DMC3 Special Edition had Vergil mode.
Makes sense why the same thing happens. He basically has the power of the gods in this point in the story.

I didn’t think this was a must-lose fight, just a really hard fight. Given like four or five tries I think you could get him.
