    Bert has been there as musical influence for me (& many others !) for at least a couple of decades now :) Love this song.

    The song was on the Crimson Moon album, released 26 June 2000. Babylon was on the White Ladder album, released 1999

      I believe "Angie" originated with Davey Graham. Bert recorded it as did John Renbourn, Paul Simon, and others.

    Im sure Im going to have a new one torn for me for saying this, but he cannot sing to save his life. Absolute legend with the fingerstyle though, love this song. 5 stars

    @MITCHWILD PROBABLY Britains finest? As far as an acoustic guitarist, he is definetly the best the UK period has ever produced if you ask me.

    oh i am a ba' bag now for telling one poster he was playing his g'tar out of tune. Well how dare that person try ape the legendery jansch with a typical cheep toy. so anyone with good archives and keen then i love.

    I've watched this video many times as I have the DVD of this festival. Although I myself enjoy seeing it, I think it can be said this recording doesn't do much justice for Burt or the guitar to someone not familiar with either. You are right about the guitar also, top of the line L series which go for about $5K-$6K. Very fine instrument.. Burt, of course, was priceless.
