Thank you so much for featuring Polizzi Generosa in today’s video…my husbands hometown!! Great places to stay if you want to organize hikes up in the Madonie Mts. They also sponsor a wonderful San Gandolfo festival in September. You need to check out the videos from Vincent Schiavelli, the well known character actor who fell in love with his grandparents hometown! Keep up the great work Eszter & Alfred…I look forward to your videos!!
I will be in Polizzi Generosa in May with one of my sons and husband. My husbands paternal roots are from Polizzi Generosa and we are beyond excited to go there.
I had tears in my eyes watching Carman's buddies singing over his casket. Very emotional time, very emotional funeral. Thanks You, Me and Sicily for bringing that to us and the lovely towns you visited. Take care. God Bless ♥
Thank you both for this wonderful episode as I am learning so much about Sicily. In truth I am homesick as I am stuck for the moment in the States, but will come back soon. It helps at the end of a hard day to watch you both and get a taste of home.
Excellent video❤️ Absolutely breathtaking🙏🏻 I have to say I was in tears at the end of the video, Carmen, Rock On & Rest In Peace you wonderful soul ✝️🙏🏻✝️ 🌹🌹🌹🌹
I love Milazzo also, have you been to a town called Rometta Superiore ? Lots of history, we also went to a Ristorante-Trattoria a little town down the mountain a town called Sottocastello it’s on via Sottocastello family business great food. if you blink you will miss it ha ha, but worth the trip the view is amazing. My parents are from a village further town the mountain very winding road called San Pietro and you don’t need to blink and you will miss it ha ha.
Could you do Fiumedinisi in your travels. My grandfather and most of the Italians at our church are from this small town. I enjoy your channel and will wait anxiously to see what you do. Thank you!
No doubt that island is full of treasures ...but ...just like Esther said "we are going to take you to two of the biggest treasures on the island "no doubt she was talking about her and her husband ...cuz for sure they are two of the biggest treasures on that island ...a blessing to all of us back in the states ..to your heath 🍷
Regarding Polizzi Generosa-I I think perhaps you forgot about Vincent Schiavelli moving to and subsequently dying there. His story is very interesting. Thank you for sharing the very touching piece about your friend Tommy. One of your best episodes.
Hi! Hope all is well. Have you gone to the food markets today? My aunt informed us the shelves are becoming empty. She is taking your advice on cutting costs. Candles at night, not bad.
Some places are seeing shortages because some truckers are blocking deliveries. We went out today to some of our stops and they were filled but some of our friends are reporting shortages as well .
This is our home. While concerning, it hasn't dominated the news like in the states. It's a EU issue and NATO issue primarily. Italy really is a tag- along.
