Noelle looks so much more serious than birdly in the swapped roles. It's a really nice contrast to imagine an antagonist that's actually competent and threatening.

In this, I could suppose to Spamton is in Queen role, so Spamton would like to manipulate Noelle and she is giving in to his whims, perhaps that is why she is not like Berdly, self-centered, she does the dirty work of spamton just for a deal.
On the one hand I love this version of deltaswap because Noelle as Berdly makes perfect sense. In Deltarune queen controls Berdly with a wire. In Deltaswap spamton controls Noelle with a thorn ring (or similar item) But on the other hand I love the more extreme swap of swapping Kris and Noelle. Because then spamton takes special interest in Kris and queen takes special interest in Noelle (just like the original game) So the dynamic fits perfectly. Both are great though and the music's a bop so I can't complain.
Maybe Spamton makes a deal to help Noelle if she freezes how strings but she accidentally kills him as he can't survive without them , so she just uses a spell to look at all the thoughts and memories he has ever had...

WHY IS THIS SO FIRE?!? I just searched up if someone made a version of smart race for a Deltaswap Noelle and my expectations were shattered! Good work!
For some reason, I was expecting the "Don't miss out on this holiday sale" voice clips from the Spamelle AU to be included, but that doesn't take away from how much of a banger this song is.
I always felt that Noelle's leitmotif had to be composed in a very specific way in order to sound all that good or impactful. A way that even her primary official soundtrack song doesn't nail in my opinion. I think this might be the best example I've heard of her leitmotif.
I imagine Noelle in this AU being more aware, given that in this AU she seems like a confident version of Noelle, I'm sure that she's more openly nice to the others, but still acting tough as a way to hide the fear she holds on her mother or even Spamton. That she's acting like she likes being part of Spamton's army and tries to make him proud but deep inside, she's scared of him... she appreciates Susie and Kris both equally... (unlike Berdly in the original Deltarune, who seems to respect Kris to a degree, but mocks about Susie until the end of a Pacifist/Neutral Route of Chapter 2), and possibly reconcile with Kris given that Kris takes Susie's role in this AU, and both Kris and Noelle were childhood friends in the original Deltarune. I don't know, I just like when AUs changes the roles but respecting the original personalities as much as it can, in the similar fashion as TS!Underswap and Inverted Fate do
I could imagine Noelle being a smug formal school girl in this universe, but still has a crush on Susie, who is the protagonist. (Meaning that she fears Kris just like everyone else originally feared Susie.)
In most deltaswap things chris stays the same and susie becomes a short bean, swapping personality with ralsei. But I could totally see smug Noelle having a crush on her
this got me thinking about future mechanics in deltarune, like what if you could switch out your party members in battle? like if you need Noelle to do something, they can swap places with Susie or Ralsei, and you can switch them back if you need the other one (excluding kris, since he's the leader, and also other reasons)

I just had two utterly insane ideas for this swap AU: What if the mystery speaker from the beginning of the game and the Man Behind The Tree were swapped? What if Gaster and the player were swapped?

As in, the normal machines are a joke and very weak like the original duck, but the swapped Duck is now an absolute beast of a bossfight? What if Thrash Machine's GIGA form from the final bossfight of chapter 2 swapped with the GIGA Queen (now GIGA Spamton)?

I always felt that Noelle's leitmotif had to be composed in a very specific way in order to sound all that good or impactful.
A way that even her primary official soundtrack song doesn't nail in my opinion.

I imagine Noelle in this AU being more aware, given that in this AU she seems like a confident version of Noelle, I'm sure that she's more openly nice to the others, but still acting tough as a way to hide the fear she holds on her mother or even Spamton. That she's acting like she likes being part of Spamton's army and tries to make him proud but deep inside, she's scared of him... she appreciates Susie and Kris both equally... (unlike Berdly in the original Deltarune, who seems to respect Kris to a degree, but mocks about Susie until the end of a Pacifist/Neutral Route of Chapter 2), and possibly reconcile with Kris given that Kris takes Susie's role in this AU, and both Kris and Noelle were childhood friends in the original Deltarune.
I don't know, I just like when AUs changes the roles but respecting the original personalities as much as it can, in the similar fashion as TS!Underswap and Inverted Fate do
