Jigsaws are out in Europe. I got my Hikoki barrel grip 36V jigsaw two months ago. It's a great machine and a vast improvement over the old top handle model.
@@hrundgren4352 what is the benefit of a barrel grip? I never felt like there was any issue with the traditional design but the fact that there is newer designs coming out make me think that maybe there is a benefit to it
cuchanu I don’t mind the old top grip but it is more awkward when you use it upside down, tracing a line or doing a cut out. The barrel grip Hikoki is a more refined machine and cuts better in thicker materials. It has switches on both sides. With the top grip you have variable speed trigger which is nice but for longer cuts you need to keep the trigger engaged. If you lock it with the thumb lock it is more awkward to switch off at times. The barrel grip model is a great machine, have no tried the new top grip machine. My experience is with the older top grip which is just an ”ok” but not great machine.
Any news of an oscillating multi-tool being released in 36v for HiKoki?
Haven't heard anything yet. But keep an eye out for the future.
Where can I buy the jigsaw or are they not out to buy yet?
