The biggest thing I've learned from these videos is that when I have a question or a "But, Dr Mohamed..." come up, I just need to wait and I get the answer!! You truly do a fantastic job of keeping things aimed in and clear, that is a gift, my friend. I get the feeling that you can do a much longer video on this aspect of genetics and the methodologies associated with it - which I'm also sure I would watch repeatedly.
You're always so kind, @Wardogheim! I do indeed have a much longer video on the topic in my free online class in Coursera, albeit without the Star Trek connection. Always great to see you here, my friend! ❤️🖖 www.coursera.org/learn/genetics-evolution
Ha ha ha-- I do have a video "inspired by" TNG Genesis already-- it's the one on this channel entitled "The Trek from DNA to Traits". But maybe I should follow up with a more in-depth look! 😂 Also, I had a fun chat with Andre Bormanis, Lisa Klink, and Peter Holmstrom on that episode that you may enjoy: podbay.fm/p/treksperts-briefing-room/e/1637917200 Good to see you, @Medalion -- thanks for the fun feedback as always! ❤️🖖
I appreciate your absolute joy and energy in presenting SCIENCE to everyone!! (I couldn't believe I hadn't commented on this one 🤦🏾♂) . This was a great explanation and was easy to visualize. To answer the Q at the end of the video: I do remember phylogenetic analysis and basics of comparative genomics from university. I was really excited watching this video...you could do a long version on this and it would capture people's interest the way you convey the subject! So much fun - thanks @BioTrekkie Explains!
You're very kind-- thank you, and welcome! I will say that the more recent videos are higher quality-- the ones I made back especially in March-May 2020 were definitely "as I was figuring things out." 😂 🖖
@@BioTrekkie Still worth it. Content is key.. What is it that Dr, McCoy used to say? "I'm a Doctor, not an Engineer". You channel will be high on my list, along with the 7th Rule... Thank You!
The positive energy and Star Trek Awesomeness added to science knowledge is almost too good to handle. Thanks Mohamed!
Thank YOU @The 7th Rule ! You're very kind indeed! Love your channel, your programming, and your kindness! ❤️🖖
Thanks Mohamed - fun and educational and trekky as always
Thanks Louise-- appreciate the kind feedback! 🖖
