Rent in nice areas of Athens I have never paid more than 400 euros. Some these prices you are paying are way to expensive and never saw them here unless it's in a tourist spot. You getting got for those prices. Way overpriced.
How do you find places to live? I looked on sites but they're all super touristy apartments and I want like an actual house that a person would live in if u get me
Rent in Greece is way cheaper, even though prices have recently gone up. You can definitely find something with $400-600. Wifi is not bad, maybe the person who had your airbnb was paying for a low speed network?
Well Athens isn’t a new city is quite old like Rome but it has some new architecture elements in the neighborhoods like concrete buildings etc! Also you should have mentioned water! Like in Europe 0.5L bottle of water costs 4€ and higher but in Greece costs around 50 cents and even 30 cents!
I want to move to Greece 🇬🇷 how much will this cost me from the US and I seen online I need 24 k in the bank and make 2000 a month what if I don’t make that

Athens is actually one of the oldest cities in Europe. Was founded in 508 BC, over 3,000 years ago.

You're paying too much, they're taking advantage of you and thanks to people like you, who accept getting scammed, locals are struggling.

Yeah it's ok i guess . If you cook, it's pretty fine. But that depends on what kind of lifestyle you want
