mower engine mounting bolt repair

oil change goes wrong. snapped one engine mount bolt while trying to take it off. ended up drilling it out and replacing it with hardware I had laying around. this is a quick fix video. there are many better ways to do it, but when pressed for time this is what I did.

What kind of drill bits did you use? That’s was amazing you were able to drill out a bolt that quickly.

same here, was gonna use it as an excuse to get a new mower, but guess I'll take it to the shop and see if it can be fixed

It’s 2022 and I have a 2015 model. The engine mounting bolts have broken twice and Ive had several other small issues, but the low cost of repairs will keep my time master going. Paid $999 for mine, now they’re $1500. Not willing to pay the Biden inflation price.
