Nice one!! So glad the tornado that hit the last park didn't arrive here with all the old stone work. It's so fragile now, looks like

I suspect the vine covered building with the "little doors" was some sort of animal house. Sheep or pigs. Don't need high doors to the yard for short animals. I've seen similar pig pens on farms.

It is unlikely that the concrete silo is more than about 100 years old. Until the invention of ready mix trucks in the 1920's concrete was used only for the largest projects, as it was necessary to build a concrete plant at the job site.

I could live in that tiny house. I wonder what all those posts are for at the beginning of the video.

We looked for channel sticker #49 at the Academia covered bridge last week but it wasn't there. That's too bad. It was super close for us.

wow perfect weather for viewing stone ruins. This was a spectacular hike. I am imaging the lives lived back there. A small community- gone.

Great video WW, always wondered what life was like in a simpler time? Life was shorter, but the world was a better place , more family oriented. That scraping sound would drive me nuts trying to video, you powered through it. awesome 😁

That was an awesome video. Fancy ruins being right near car park, how handy was that. All the ruins were fabulous, just loved the stonework. Would love to own a small stone cottage. Thank you so much for taking me along. Please stay safe and take care

Cliff, being a native Philadelphian and very familiar with the area around rolling hill park, I can firmly say that road system is thoroughly confusing!
    Great stuff as always!

This is a neat little park close to the city, very popular with the locals and dog walkers. Sadly, when I was there last, it didn't seem as though the dog walkers were picking up after their pets.

Sadly, mostly gone. Merck's business campus is spread out on some of the old grounds. The only remnant left that I know of, is a small pond off of Morris Rd. where the duck boat rides were. Also, Cliff is in Gladwyne here I think. The former West Point Park was in the Lansdale area.
