Oh by the way, I am super glad you are back. You explain where I can understand and I purchase my bato buckets and buckets from you. Thank you for taking the time to educate us on hydroponic systems.

Thanks RJ, because of you we did tomatoes and green peppers two years ago in your bucket system and was impressed. We use the mixture also on my wife’s flowers and bushes in and around the house. Just a few cups on them every other week and they grow and flower like crazy. They are in dirt but it works on them also. Getting back into the buckets again this year and can’t wait to get started again. I’ll be ordering from you soon. Kevin

I did tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers in the beto buckets last year. I still have peppers in the freezer and we had tomatoes and cucumbers coming out our ears, lol! plus I had an accidental straight neck squash that wouldn't quit.

How many plants per bucket do you plant?

I put 2 plants per bucket, but I think 1 would have been better for air flow.
      Thanks

Did they continue to grow? Assume you can’t top them if you want them to keep putting on new sprouts?

They kept growing. Cutting the tops did stop them. Finally had to take them out for the next plants - tomatoes, peppers, beans and cucumbers. These are better for the warmer weather anyway.

Do you just put the seeds in the perlite or do you need to sprout them before planting. I’m a rookie, can you tell? LOL!

Did both. Sprouting first was better. More control. Thanks
