I enjoy your vlogs a lot. This old village was enchanting. Strange how quiet it was. Loved the music, the church, and all the stone structures. Well done!
I feel same way. My maternal grandfather's people were from France. His parents moved to St. Catherines Canada, and my grandfather came down to NY USA when very young. He met and married my grandmother , met her in Trenton, NJ. I still live in this area of NJ to this day but would LOVE to visit France, England (my dad's people from Kent England came to USA in the 1600s. So much rich history and roots for many of us here in the states are from France and Europe. Thank you so much Selmar from NJ, I truly appreciate ALL of your videos.
Good morning Selmar 🙏 what a beautiful village. It would have been lovely to see what was inside the antique shop with the beautiful picture in the window. Love the splashes of flowers outside the shops and homes. We don’t have beautiful old villages like Europe in the USA. I believe it was difficult as you stated walking up and down those streets for shopping etc. but people were in such healthy physical shape. Such a lovely old church, imagine how long it took to build these magnificent structures centuries ago and they stand the test of time. Stained glass extraordinary. Thank you Selmar for another wonderful vlog. Safe travels.❤️🙏✨💐🇺🇸
Meet me at the sign of the cross, Where beams of wood bend to sky, In corners of stone , Where love lies hidden, Reflections of light touch the heart, Kneel in reverence, To ages glory, Remember me in song and story.... Lady Lynda Thank you Selmar for sharing this ancient town and the wonders contained within...
A beautiful town to explore! The stained glass windows in the church were amazing. I had the pleasure of visiting Amsterdam many years ago. A wonderful experience that I will not forget. The Dutch people were so kind to us. Thanks Selmar🙏🏻❤️
What beautiful architecture Selmar! You are so good at capturing the beauty of the buildings, streets and even some people walking by! Such a nice mix....good music too!
Oh how charming & everywhere is so pretty, I would love it visit here 😊 Thank you for taking us along with you on your travels. Safe journey to Holland Selmar ☺️🐾
What a beautiful town or village. It seem to be a little run down but the charm is absolutely beautiful. I love that it is not so commercial. So quite. And No cars all over the place. Thank you Selmar.
Love this town, to pretty. It is so wonderful that these places still exist. It could have been divested during WWII. I wonder if most of the population have live there from generation to generation.
Absolutely loved this little village, It has the feeling of home to it. It's ancient but clean. Stunning. I mite suggest to u that while u are walking that u give a little history of the town. For those of us that will never be able to visit that lovely village. Thanx
wow, another beautiful church! The baptismal font looked ancient! The altar is a beautiful color and those stain glass windows with the reds are beautiful! I bet that place is freezing in the winter!
So pretty... I was thinking the same thing about feeling like one is going back in time (except seeing the cars spoils the effect). Then you said the same thing. 😇❤️
Oh what an amazing place! it looks so very old! The church had beautiful stained glass windows, and it looks very old too. Do you know when it was built? Safe travels Selmar, enjoy your family time. Big pats for Diesel xx
Such a beautiful village. Loved the statues and beautiful windows in the chapel. Selmar, have you ever been to the walled city of Carcassone, France? It might be too far from LaLande but it is so neat. My husband and I visited there a few years ago. Has a castle, chapel, shops and restaurants. There is a board game with the same name that we discovered recently.
There are thousands of villages like this in France., some more charming than others. You are asking something quite hard actually. Unless there has been a battle nearby or one of the inhabitants turned into somebody famous at some point, a town just has some local history. Not every village is known for their history, nationally or even internationally. Remember, this isn’t even Selmar’s home country.
Hi Selmar, This is a very historic town and the church particularly, is breathtaking. May I ask your approx destination in Holland? I'm looking at the route :) Enjoy your trip to the family!
@@equatorialjourney4478 : It's the summer. That's when many French people go on vacation for weeks at a time. Also, due to Covid, you won't see many tourists. Although Selmar did see a Dutch family walking past him.

Ancient stone buildings softened with pots of geraniums outside and lace curtains in windows.

Amsterdam
What are the flags for?
❤️🤣
SELMAR? did you take Ruby with you???
Thank you Selmar. Where is Diesel?
this seems, to sum up, Europe went there and it seems closed or you can't tell if a store or an apartment is very confusing.
Stores have signs and display windows. Easy.

Do you live in a PART of Netherlands that is called Holland? Your country is called Netherlands correct
Holland is The Netherlands and I come from the part Noord Holland Haarlem :)
Try not to do such closeups of your face. It will look much more professional.
