- The Sacramento Kings are currently on a six-game winning streak, and Stephen Curry made a joke roasting the Kings that he will now be haunted by. Mike Brown was the assistant coach for the Warriors last season and has now become the head coach of the Kings. De'Aaron Fox has blossomed as a scorer, becoming much more efficient this season than he's ever been in his short career. Kevin Huerter is a godsend for them as a prolific shooter & they've got the best offense in the league so far this season.

Cavs have an MVP caliber player in Donovan Mitchell, All-Star Darius Garland, and Fringe All-Star Jarrett Allen. How’s that for a “small market”.
small market isn’t talking about the players they have. small market means the viewership & amount fans compared to counterparts. Kings are the small market in california compared to the teams down south like the lakers and clippers and gs. same with the jazz and the cavs get overshadowed by the celtics, knicks, nets, etc

@@StephenWardellCurry Donovan Mitchell was ranked bottom 20 defensively last year. he’s one of the best in the league for sure but he just is not an MVP caliber player being that bad on defense. defenses also have more to worry about with Garland ballin out his fuccing mind and the opposing center (JA) finally being able to somewhat score on his own. yes im dissin Gobert. not sayin he isn’t still elite among even the elite, but MVP is draggin it. season jus started

Serbia used to cheer for Sacrament back when Vlade,Peja,C Webb,Bibby,Christie,Bobby Jackson,Hedo played. And their fans are AMAZING ! I remember cow bells and madness. There are some open court episodes where Webb,Shaq,Charles and Kenny speak the same.
I fell in love with the team at the start of the Peja and cwebb era. My favourite player was Peja.
You know Curry, the Warriors were terrible at one point and they turned it around. MAYBE we're witnessing the turning point for the Kings.

As a fan of both (I don't usually have a second team in sports, Kings are my first team super die hard and Warriors are my second since Monta and the we believe era bc Monta was my favorite player) I've seen lows and highs of both teams. This Kings team definitely reminds me of the rise the Warriors took after hiring Kerr. Even in the Baron Davis, Jason Richardson days I liked the Warriors but other players could have clowned their overall team success the same way. What goes around comes around, eventually lol.
Lakers fans are going to need more room in their closets for Kings gear to go along with their Lakers gear, Warriors gear, and Clippers gear. You know, for whichever wagon they decide to ride at any given point in time.
There is something your just have to appreciate about fun basketball and when a team plays so well together.

I have been a Sacramento fan since I was 7 in the late 90s. Words cannot even begin to describe how happy I am to see the Kings within not just the Top 5 of the West, but the Top 10/Top 5 of the NBA overall.

We were down against the Cavs with tons of Sac refs bad calls. Mike Brown stepped out onto the court had a word with the refs and they finally started making calls against the Cavs, and just like that Kings took the lead for the first time that game and won.
im getting sick of the fucking refs giving the other team bad calls or no calls late in the game. its pissing me off, they better do something about this or there needs to be an investigation into this why it keeps happening late in the game when the game is close. its almost like the refs are getting paid off

as a person with a sucker for changes, it’s nice to see different teams make the playoffs because with the same teams, constantly making it they looked a bit boring to watch. if Sacramento Kings made the playoffs this year, it would be good and it will bring some excitement especially after 15 or 16 years.

I dont want to be that guy, but i think its safe to say that standings dont mean anything this season(like the ones before). Suns leading the west and dont make the finals as expected last year and i personally cant see how the kings would reach the western finals even if all stay healthy. I just love how close the teams are this year....except the lakers of course
I'm a warriors fan at heart, grew up in the bay, but after moving to Sacramento a few years ago, I'm happy to call them my second team. The turnaround is awesome to see, and its easy to root for them. I went to a game last year, and the Nets game this year. Despite both games being wins, the Nets win was palpably MUCH more electric at Golden1 center. Big things coming I'm sure!

@@powerchanger1015 I know, I just hate people claiming that he's a "Golden State Coach" when his resume is far deeper than that. He coached Lebron to the 2007 finals, made the early 2000's Pacers an absolute monster defensively, and won a ring in San Antonio.

Vlade just couldn't find the right coach and Bagley and Heild going sour just killed the culture. Now with a few more stronger bench players on the Kings , we have that "smooth offense" movement. Thanks to the Princeton offense and variety or varients of the system. Can't both the Kings and Pacers win on the trade? We got Sabonis remember? It wasn't just the kings giving away Haliburton and Heild for nothing.

I don't think Steph was trying to be an asshole in the sense the Kings not being good is what everyone is used to. That being said, those words did need to be eaten because you can truly never count anyone out, and Steph of all people should really fucking know that.
