When you said no British side in history could compare. I had to stop and think. I think you're right especially during the professional era that England especially for that world cup and leading up to it were phenomenal and amazing talent.But overall history I really have to go with that Welsh side from 68-78. Only losing 11 games in that decade. I know they hardly toured in those days unless it was with the lions. But the consistency, the structure and being the first British side to set up a coaching scheme. That particular decade was a benchmark for all that was to come.
