One quick correction, Sonne is from the Mutter album so was recorded 23 years ago with the album being released in 2001. Sonne was originally written as entrance music for the heavyweight boxer, Vitali Klitschko but his management team rejected it as they thought that it was too heavy! The video shows the toxic relationship between the dwarves and Snow White, but it's a relationship that they cannot survive without. She's the Sun to them even though she harms them and causes them pain. In the same way, we rely on the Sun, but it has the potential to cause us harm. Nice reaction again guys.
Man wtf. How is a song TOO HEAVY for a heavyweight boxer. Sonne would be so hype as entrance music.
Snow White is being played by Julia Stepanova, a model from Belgium. She was voted in the top 10 most beautiful women on the planet by High Times Magazine.
The Mutter album will always be my favorite Rammstein album. Amazing from beginning to end.
Song and video are about 20 years old ;) Great reaction guys. Much love from Germany PS. The haunting part is the outro of their "Deutschland" Video. If you havent seen that one and like Rammsteins videos. That one tops them all and I wonder how that was not suggestet best video of the year world wide.

Very imaginative (and clever) music and video...with at least two different interpretations (see the lyrics)...it seems so easy to find to start a song with a count...but they are the only ones to have found it !!

I think it's more than 25 years old song. I basically grew up with Rammstein and I am an old man, I am 45. :)
Most people don’t know that another idea for a music video was the dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima... Paul Landers (Riff) Interview MTV Masters, Germany 2001. The idea was that the band would be the crew of the plane that would drop the atomic bomb on Hiroshima in 1945. During the chorus the mushroom cloud of the explosion would be shown. It would then go on to show the conflict of the band, and how they were able to drop the bomb, knowing that people down there died a horrible death. nice Reaction, greetings from Germany❤

Fun fact Rammstein is influenced by laibach and there slovene so basically what that means is that half the kulture is half alovene basically all over the world. They dont say that much but if you look at like 40% of basically everything that exist its probably half alovene or influenced by slovene
That's why I hate people reacting to music videos. Literally totally focusing on video rather on music.
"ei" in german is pronounced like english pronoun " i " Rammstein rimes with "mine"..
Despite the imagery of the Snow White tale, as always I suspect a deeper meaning from Rammstein. In 'Sonne' I see it as a biting commentary on men simping for women (perhaps of the only camgirl variety, or live and in person) who don't give a sh*t about them other than what they can get from the guys. We see the 'dwarves' giving SW everything they have worked for and they get spanked in thanks for it- then when the dwarves lay her to rest after she's burned out, they have nothing to look forward in their lives. BUT the apple breaks the glass coffin, SW awakes (with a vengeance!) and there they are, right back in the mines working for her. // That being said, and completely apart from the meaning of the video, it's kind of hot :D
