That is a nice ride and location of BMW Pampanga...I just sold my Harley Road King Special and got the R1250 GS Adventure HP here in San Diego CA...and what a world of difference from the slow and clunky Harley...When I come to visit the Philippines, I will see if I can visit that dealership...thanks for sharing "kababayan"...lol
5'7 sir. Ok lang ergo. Seat height is ok when road is perfectly flat but not good if manila potholes or uneven road. However the GS has low seat and low suspension options that can go as low as 31 inches. These are stock from BMW out of the factory :)
Hello MotoHK, I can truly feel your excitement and joy trying out these fine BMW bikes. But trust me, you may feel the full potential of the boxer engine only on a long ride! And as you noted, torque really matters. I am riding the BMW R1200GS Adventure Triple Black (2012 model) for the past 6 years. Recently my asawa and me revisited some beautiful places in France such as this => ruclips.net/video/j3G7Xe89PHc/видео.html. Regards from Germany, Andy
yes! i love how each bike has its own character and it was my first time riding BMW bikes. the GS certainly looks to be awesome for long rides although not for me... at least not right now haha.. enjoy germany and ride safe!
I wish you always a safe ride as well. We are planning to retire in the Philippines in the not too distant future. Maybe then we have a chance to join you for some nice riding experience, perhaps even on a longer ride? Take care and keep the rubber on down on the road ;-)
this is subjective but a good guideline to follow is to see if your inseam + tiptoe height is greater or equal to the seat height of the motorcycle. however you also need to take into account that some seats are wider vs. others so that also affects whether you can flatfoot the bike. finally, even if you can flatfoot, there is a matter of weight. you will need to be able to handle the weight of the bike if ever it falls down or you are walking it along uneven terrain. with that said, everything can be learned and trained :)
long time no vlog to lagi kong inaabangan malufet.
