I’m creating my own personal AIO install disk, and sadly skipping the license agreement is required as a fix for a strange error (cannot find software terms) that halts the entire setup. To put it in perspective, this error even happens with the official Windows 10 1709 WIM image from Microsoft if you use it with an 1803+ setup image. EDIT: Also, Windows 7 Embedded Standard can be much smaller than the homebrew edition shown in the video, however you will need to configure what is installed during the setup, so it’s not for less knowledgeable people.
32 bit link I created mine by searching for and downloading the official Windows ISOs released by Microsoft. Then, I would combine each WIM file together and place the combined WIM file into an extracted Windows ISO directory. Finally, I would create an ISO from said directory. This is the short version of what I did. Also, my ISO (80+ GB) is too big for me to distribute anywhere. If you are wondering why it’s so big, I included almost every 64bit version of Windows 7, 8.1, 10, Embedded, and Server. A total of 230+ indexes.
tehtechie1 My test VM had 8GB of RAM allotted, so it isn’t that. It just seems like newer versions of Windows Setup just do not like any 1709 images. I also use VMware.
I don't understand why these authors uses editions like Ultimate to create lite editions I mean, Ultimate is the complete edition of Windows 7, so it's the biggest in size, why not using editions like Home Basic instead? Which are a little tinier in size
Setup is ugly. Super Lite Edition is probably only changed from one place. The minimal second phase of setup is also a flag from setup. The "setup is checking for video performance" is just fine. If the author removed gadget and a couple of more components, it wouid be even lighter.
Of course there may be very few if any W7 updates coming soon, but will it do updates? And does it start with being updated from '17 so there are less to install. Or none needed?
heres a suggestion, what I and mabee some others are curious about is, how many processes are goin on in task manager, that will definitely show me exactly what i am saving as far as system resources in using this or other alternate OS's. Also, i think these minimal os's are great! I set my rig up very similar to what is goin on here, minimal processes, maximum performance is the way to go, which is why alot of these have minimal desktops and backgrounds are blank\black. I'm running win 7 home premium oem for last 10 years without a hitch, 32 processes on boot. thats why i wanna know what processes are goin on here, if the author got it down to less than 32 on boot, then it may even be worth it for me to download and try, otherwise whats the point?
There is a 2019 version of W7 Super Lite that runs as 64-bit and installs to about 6 GB - W7-Super-Lite-x64-Install-2019.iso. I assume it's from the same author, though it does away with all the "branding" you see in this video - I think this is the 2017 version. I don't recall if 6 GB is significantly smaller than a regular Windows 7 install. Once you start installing apps or games on top of it, it doesn't really matter, so I'm not sure what the advantage is. If you really need a smaller install size you could use NTFS compression.
While Windows requires 16 or whatever gb and will happily grow to fill it with updates, the installation doesn't take up this much. I have a Seven SP1 installation with some components disabled but nothing removed from the install disk, and it takes up less than 5 GB minus swap file and 3rd party applications after some use but no updates. Seems that many international fonts have been removed, except for Arabic. Windows, since XP, has gone overboard with the fonts that most people are unable to read.

Why use shot like this when Ms allready offers same thing? And its even more configurable as you can make disc image on exact that hardware ure using. It's called Windows FLP. Once you start installing apps or games on top of it, it doesn't really matter, so I'm not sure what the advantage is. If you really need a smaller install size you could use NTFS compression.
I run a Win 8.1 tablet and the whole OS takes up 5.8 GB. I wonder how small it can get?
I installed it on my 800 mhz celeron m laptop it runs good
captions when saying windows 7: one dose Evans
Cutting the feature that zips files to save space is such an oxymoron
While Windows requires 16 or whatever gb and will happily grow to fill it with updates, the installation doesn't take up this much. I have a Seven SP1 installation with some components disabled but nothing removed from the install disk, and it takes up less than 5 GB minus swap file and 3rd party applications after some use but no updates. Seems that many international fonts have been removed, except for Arabic. Windows, since XP, has gone overboard with the fonts that most people are unable to read.
Great video
Who actually assembled this version ? You or somebody else ? What debloater tool was used for it ?
Windows 7 live on bootable USB using that mod? Would I be able to use this mode as a source for making Windows live bootable USB?
Oh I know this version of Windows 7!!
Curious where to get this distro. Great they removed zip,, I hate that feature, I use only 7zip and winrar. Subscribed, good content I like to see.
This might make my Celeron E1400 and 2GB RAM usable

Review of a lite OS, showing the games but without showing the consumption of ram and CPU or even opening the task manager ...
Gamer or what bro

Why use shot like this when Ms allready offers same thing?
And its even more configurable as you can make disc image on exact that hardware ure using.
It's called Windows FLP. Windows for legacy pc's.
Also. For really small footprint grab all 3 images for Win 7 embedded kit and you get tools to create even smaller install...
With embedded Windows 7 basic small footprint install is less than 512Mb...
Win XP embedded is like 200Mb.
Forgot to mention the side-by-side store. That's where a lot of weight comes from in plain installs
Where is the link to download the image?
Games Like Valorant work on This??

Got a question, how do i activate 7 super lite?
That is a good job, but I kind of dislike this... Just all about how creator of this copy of distribution changed the copyright information of the operating system - as if the operating system has made by him or approved by Microsoft. I am not sure if the creator of this copy actually bought the operating system legally, but even if he did - the copyright is still owned by Microsoft.
Can you do windows updates on these?
5:05 that is actually a real microsoft animation, I've seen it when booting from usb
