Thank you for your review. We test-drove one of these today and the first thing that both my husband and I noticed was how extremely comfortable the seats are. Even the back seats are comfortable (and can recline). We also noticed how spacious it felt inside and that the windshield felt a bit wider than usual, which gives a nice view while driving scenic routes. The car also felt quite heavy and very solid, which adds a sense of feeling very safe in it. We also loved that there is a lot of leg room in the front passenger seat due to the shape of the dashboard and lots of room for your knees. You don't feel like your knees are practically touching the glove box like you do in some other cars. Even my 190 cm tall husband found the front passenger seat comfortable. As someone who doesn't like a lot of complex technology that can require a lot of learning and getting use to, I actually appreciate the simple controls. Due to how extremely comfortable this car is and its nice wide windshield, I think this would be a nice car to take on long-distance road trips. It's also nice for people like us who work from home and do most of our shopping in a 5-mile radius, so one charge on this thing could probably last us an entire week. Thanks again for your review. :)

As an owner of this car just be aware you do need a powerpoint in your garage to charge overnight. My experience of this car including holiday to Noosa in January is overwhelmingly positive!

Another fine review. FYI, as this motor set-up is essentially the same which featured in the pre-facelifted Outlander, its combined power outputs were 158KWS and 383NMS.

Good review, however, I wish more was said about S-AWC. In my opinion, it is a key feature of the Eclipse Cross that is never discussed.

Next time I review it I'll make sure I mention it. Cheers.

Yes it is quite expensive BUT you forgot to say it's 4WD...there are not many PHEV compact SUVs out there that can match that. Cheaper yes..but not 4WD.

1.9 litres per 100 kms was quoted - if RV is continuously used.
But display said 7.1 (about the same as the one we bought.
    7.1 ‘porkies’, Mr Mitsubishi.
    Seats are comfortable though.

That is what I am afraid of: that when the battery depletes, this engine is less efficient (7,1 l/100 km) than other engines on the market that do 5-6 l/100 km.

Drive it 140km/h and fuel consumption is 11 ltr/100 km. Ridiculous

Mitsu screws up on the simple aspect of the interior and dash design........instrumental cluster and sound system is trash...Australians dont want just heated seats we want cooling seats.. get it right Mitsu....the price is shiiiite

PHEVs are quite expensive across the board now especially as full EVs are getting cheaper. And yes the interior tech is not great, but the Eclipse Cross is one of the better PHEVs around.
