Your dad and I are about the same age. I discovered Terry Reid when I was16, at my cousin's house. He and his friends were hanging in the garage and playing the "Bang, Bang" album. Reid is one of the most under-rated musicians of my generation -- not only as a singer, but as a songwriter and all around musical "magnifico".
I've been jamming Terry since the Wonderland soundtrack from 2003. Terry is actually a hidden gem so consider yourself blessed if you love this song cause it's a blessing in itself. ♥️
That's where I heard about Terry too. That scene where he pulls up to the house and walks through the party with this song playing is so cool. Reminds me of a place I've never been
Me too! Wonderland and all of rob zombies movies have the best soundtracks 🤍 as a kid I listened to all this because my dad but this song was brought back by wonderland too… 😁
Shout out to those of you who happened upon this hidden gem by chance, whether that was 5 mins ago or 40 years ago. The point is that you made it here, and that in itself is as special as the piece of music.
You could not be more correct …. I first came upon this song watching Wonderland , and I was blown away and still am every single time I play it. It is absolutely incredible , it has everything. Such a beautiful song all around
THANK YOU ROB ZOMBIE!!! if I hadn't seen "devils rejects" I would've never heard this amazing artist. Terry Reid is now my favorite singer/songwriter of ALL TIME (and I've been around awhile). wtf is wrong with American radio stations?! I can't believe all the years I was robbed of this phenomenal music!!!
Nah dude. Its in the actual film. On the soundtrack tracklist. Great song anyways! ... "the devil is singing our song" by the james gang is awesome to! My favourite
The reason not many people have heard of Terry Reid is not his misfortune. He’s had countless opportunities to be a mega star over the years. He’s always known what he’s wants in life and that is, no doubt, to be a free spirit.
Thanks to RUclips for being the only place that has this song. All other Streaming services, only feature the live version. Which is a good idea, if it means more $ for the musician but you can’t deny that usually and especially in this case, the studio version is better. It’s a shame they don’t get residuals from all versions (studio, live, re-recorded).
First heard this song from the "Wonderland" movie so when he walked in to that party in the summer of love and this song was playing I was like damn I wish I could have went to a party like that!! 😂😊❤❤

Terry Reid one of the best voices of early rock ....super lungs ,seed of memory and dream and baby I love you without expression great songs . To bad he's only famous for Turing down led Zeppelin and deep purple for a solo act that never took off ...but this is a great classic rock tune with a country feel to it ... Awesome drinking tune ...his music was underrated back in the day ... But music was a lot better back then...
This gem has been one of my go-to summer albums since I first heard it in the '70s. It's a record that never gets old. That laid back mellow sound transcends all times and places.

I unfortunately found this song after my Dad passed would have loved to pound a couple beers with him and Jam out to this whole album, hopefully I can listen to this on my way into the afterlife, see you someday Pops gonna have a blast when we meet again.
Wow...and to think I just discovered Terry yesterday completely by accident. This song is amazing...what a great voice! And Graham Nash on backing harmonies!
Terry Reid is the one who suggested Robert Plant and John Bonham to Jimmy Page! Without Terry Reid, there may not have been a Led Zeppelin as we know it today.
My uncle put me on to Terry Reid when I was in Jr. High always loved classic rock, punk, metal, new wave, and hip hop, this song was definitely a big part of my school days
I’m discovering all his songs only now. I first saw him recently on the “old grey whistle test recordings”. You can see he is the real deal. What a rock star should be. If he made 10 albums or so , we are fortunate enough to have him !
I was introduced to such wonderful song in 2008 when I bought a DVD disc titled as Wonderland, starred by Val Kilmer, in Downtown of Manaus,Amazon,Brazil,(yes, there´s a town amid the jungle),and I got fascinated.Good music can resist the time.
The lp was among my favorite records of the 70's.. Great voice, and to think he was Jimmy Page's first choice to be lead vocalist of seminal Led Zeppelin but Terry passed and never regretted his decision.. I cannot envision how Zep would have fared...
My boyfriend bought me this album on vinyl for our 2nd anniversary in march. It’s my most prized possession, he’s the one who turned me onto his music.

Guys like Terry Reid, Dave Van Ronk and even Sixto Rodriguez, got buried underneath the landslide that was Bob Dylan. Though Dylan appeared on the scene some years earlier, the mark he left in the business was so significant that it either paved the way for future artists, or it pushed them aside as "copycats," or as just being part of a long-line of musicians who were producing a "tired" sound. Dave Van Ronk was actually the inspiration for the film "Inside Llewyn Davis" which chronicles this issue exactly. Dave Van Ronk's album; "Folksinger" which also contains the song, "Hang me, Oh Hang Me" is one of the greatest music albums ever made and it never received the praise and attention it so rightfully deserved. And if anyone knows the story of Rodriguez (Searching For Sugar Man) and how was he buried not only by a flooded market, but by the industry as well. Well, if nothing else, the internet is great for keeping this timeless and beautiful music alive!

Amazing singer, songwriter and musician, it's a pity not to have listened to him many years ago! Today on RUclips we can find great artists not advertised - in due course - and forgotten. Thanks to those who publish these videos.
One of those people who listened to this song for the credits of 3 From Hell. Masterpiece of music - countrified and yet so soulful and bluesy. I hear the album is amazing too. On my wish list for the CD since it’s not on streaming.
+Toby Kernan lkr I play his music every night when I go to bed. it's ten to midnight I've got the the lyrics of " faith to arise" in my head. I just can't get enough of his music!
Can't understand why Apple won't allow streaming of this huge classic from the golden era of the world's greatest age of music but clearly there are reasons. Yeah yeah he COULD'VE BEEN with Zeppelin, I've also read DP as well but it never happened and history is history but thanks to the channels making this excellent tune available to us all!
I have faint memories of my parents taking me on surf trips to Baja as a toddler in the early 80s and this stuff was on repeat with others like The Band, Crosby Stills, Nash & Young, etc... Went through my punk/metal phase as a teenager and all but forgot about this stuff until I watched The Devil's Rejects and there were a couple Terry Reid songs in it and the wave of memories was overwhelming. So I started searching. That's how I remember rediscovering his music. :) Great stuff.

They aint dead yet. I thought the devils rejects was it. I was pleasantly wrong.
We can't get enough...LOVE THIS MOVIE
Amazing singer, songwriter and musician, it's a pity not to have listened to him many years ago! Today on RUclips we can find great artists not advertised - in due course - and forgotten. Thanks to those who publish these videos.
First time I heard this song was on the movie wonderland.
Passed on Led Zeppelin didn’t make him millions but man I’m glad because of what he ended up giving this world.. thanks Terry
Mom's played this on vinyl growing up. What an album!
Play this at my funeral
I wish I could remember what made me discover his music. Just have always loved it, Glad I did though!
Devils Rejects brought me here too !!!
Wonderland brought me here - again. 2021.
How bout Thank You Terry Reid! If not for him you definitely would have never heard this song.

Eu amo essa música, me trás recordações da minha juventude, me chapando muito. Agora só na cannabis. Parei con tudo. A voz é de uma beleza.
