    Great demo, thank you! I think the USA model sounds brighter in general, maybe due to the Alder vs Mamywo body

      @@stringtaste The Black Classic in question is the all-passive Level 1, best known as the Michael Landau signature model. Level 2 is the same guitar, with the only difference being the addition of a Demeter Fat Control preamp with bypass switch.
      Finally we have the Level 3 made famous by Dann Huff, featuring a lead/rhythm circuitry with series/parallel push buttons, gold hardware and matching headstock.

      @@johnconstantinides correct, if we keep in mind Level 2 now has matching headstock like the Huff. Did I misuse the level thing anywhere in the video? Back in the days there was only "Landau Classic", now known as level 1, as you pointed out.

    The USA model is more resonant and lively.

      Generally, we agree, however, sometimes Japanese ones feel more massive. It really depends on the application and is very subtle.
