I have many semi auto shotguns. I consider this one of the best if not the best. Especially for what your getting at the price point and American made. It’s Great for shooting.
Well balanced lightest recoil I ever felt. Easy to strip down. Don’t even need any tools. Just use the gas tubes to push the receiver pins out
I got lucky and got the waterfowl pro a few months before Remington shut down

I chose the 11-87 over the V3 mainly because the V3 is only available in 12ga and I needed a 20ga. That and the 11-87 is based off the proven 1100. The 11-87 is lighter & cost about 200 bux less than the V3.

    Made in the USA too.
Would like to see in 20 and 28 gauge.

That would be nice, but I think the 12ga kicks less than a 20ga!

Where’s the Pro Sporting Walnut with a 26” and 28” version, extended chokes, and adjustable comb? My brother-in-law just bought just bought a used walnut yesterday that had all of these feature added, Except the relief to the loading gate. I HATE the Loading gate!!! We both pinched, scraped, cut and hurt our thumbs on this stupid Damn design!!! That said, This has got to be one of the best shooting Semi-Autos I’ve shot!!! The recoil feels less then a 20ga and we smashed the hell out of the some clays this morning at a local Sporting Clays event! Just an amazing gun, but Remington Needs to fix the Stupid loading gate design.

The weight being shifted towards the back counters the length of the barrel. Marketing always needs to say something is new and improved though. In a few years they’ll be back extolling the virtue of the springs being back in the stock where they belong.

I agree. Less need for cleaning , and issues with fouling. I will keep my 11-87 . I do like the improved gas porting system.

foster slugs and full bore slugs like Brennekes. even a rifled choke tube won’t properly stabilize modern Sabot slugs like SST’s

Just bought a Remington v3 at local dicks sporting goods. Trigger wouldn't reset from day one. Remington sent new trigger assembly. They wouldn't overnight so two weeks no gun finally got it and problem still exists. After multiple calls to Remington no resolution. They could care less if you spend thousands of dollars on a hunting trip and end up with a single shot. Wouldn't recommend spend a little more and get something else

Sorry but Franchi is just better! 1187 is good but the V3 just jams too much
