For much of the early 2000s the St. Louis Rams were the talk of the league as they set offensive records with the trio of Kurt Warner, Terry Holt, and Marshall Faulk. Tampa Bay took the challenge of The Greatest Show on Turf head on, going tic for tac with them in the scoring department throughout the game which came down to the closing minute were Tampa Bay's Warrick Dunn powered in a 1 yard touchdown to give Tampa Bay the three point lead needed to win. The victory against the Rams was instrumental in Tampa Bay securing a playoff berth.

Wish Warrick Dunn was on SB team. He deserved to be apart of it.
One of the great MNF games, ever.....couldn't go to sleep after this one.
As a bucs fan, i give anything to have a crowd like that again. We gotta start winning again.
FTB 90 We was crunk tonight for saints game
Level2 Boxing oh yea we was and the Seattle game too
FTB 90 same
Its coming back , people are starting to believe again after this season.
JuicyPlayer yes they are! We back baby!
I miss these Tampa Bay uniforms
Most of the Bucs fanbase does, I'd wager. The current uniforms are hideous.
Never thought I would say it, but I'm getting used to the new ones. These uniforms looked dated and not in a classic way, a 90s look. I'm sure in another 10 years I'll be saying the current ones look extremely dated.
Yeah, me too
it just looks dated because of how big their pads were and also because of the way they wore them(swag )lol trust me these uni's are still hot...I like our current red uniforms but the all white uniforms gota go
I'd be fine with the new uniforms if not for the calculator-like style of the player numbers, as i think it's a real semi-pro look.
"the trio of Kurt Warner, Terry Holt, and Marshall Faulk." C'mon NFL? How are you gonna disrespect Isaac Bruce like that?
Nothing better than watching the vaunted Bucs defense vs. the greatest show on turf Rams play on grass.. MNF on ABC was great full of fireworks.
NewWaveFan1 How ironic that in the two meetings, they each beat each other at their opponents game.
I was at this game. Ive never seen the full live broadcast until now. I was In the section under the ship in front of the end-zone that Dunn scored the game winner in. One of my greatest memories. Go Bucs!
What was that moment like? When he scored. The crowd noise must have been consuming....
@@shawa1939 It was intense! Truly one of the coolest moments of my childhood. Dunn was my favorite player growing up and seeing this moment play out right in front of me was one of the key moments that solidified me being a Bucs fan for life!
Thank you NFL!!!
I have been wanting to watch this game for years! What a game!!!
Is this Week 16, in December, 2000? Because I have not watched a game like this in years.
If the Bucs had had a consistent QB back then, they would have won at least 3 SBs around that time.
Julio Moran I agree, easily if we had a decent QB Tampa Bay could had won 3 to 4 SB with that defense, just the offense was so awful All those years
Put that defence with the 2018 offense an you would have a dynasty.
The qb wasn’t the issue. Dungy was too conservative. King had it. Tony stifled les steckle early in the season.
Even with the QB situation, King almost took them to the Super Bowl in his rookie year. They made it all the way to the championship round against these Rams and had the Officials not made a call that was so wrong, that the League added a new rule called the “Bert Emmanuel Rule” because his catch should have been ruled good for a first down.
The Bucs would have been in scoring range and with the momentum they had going at that time may well have scored for the win. I will admit that Tony Dungee sucked at offense and played far too conservatives, even in the playoffs, which is the time to take risks.
The Bucs defense held that high potency offense of the Rams to only 11 points in that championship game. Every other team that played the Rams that year wished they could have held the Rams to that few of points. Any other team could have beaten the Rams with 11 points because the Rams didn’t have a very good defense, but somehow the Bucs could only muster up 6 points against that crappy Ram”s defense.
Only the Bucs offense could lose to a team their defense held to 11 points. When the kicker is your only scorer in most games, you’re going to lose a few. That made it easy for Gruden to take home the Vince. He only had to bring the Bucs offense up to mediocre and the defense would win most games for them.
They only needed an offense good enough to convert a few times and use up some clock, rather than the Dungee offensive scheme of 3 and out, send in the punter. That makes it more remarkable that the Bucs defense could still hold teams to low scores since they were out on the field 3/4 of the game. I’m surprised they had any steam left by the 4th quarter. Damn, that Monte Kiffin defense was awesome.
@@RoarOfWolverine - "the Rams didn’t have a very good defense"
The Rams had the 4th best defense that year, right behind Tampa, which had the 3rd best. You didn't hear anything about their defense because the offense was so good.
www.pro-football-reference.com/years/1999/opp.htm
All time classic right here folks! Definitely top 10 all time in MNF games. Seen this one 3 times, never gets old. Sapp, Brooks, Barber, Lynch, Warner, Faulk, Bruce, Holt. Legends, all of them Canton worthy!
I was in 7th grade when this happened and even though they were in my packers division I was hoping they would win a ring if my packers didn't
Just an absolute FEAST of superstars in this game... faulk, warner, holt, bruce, brooks, lynch, sapp, dunn, alstott, johnson
Man who else misses MNF on ABC?!
Hell yeah! The one on ESPN is unwatchable.
I didn't really get into football until the end of the 05 Season. Which was MNFs last season with ABC.
I think it was this 2000 season they moved mnf to 8pm because ratings were down. But then ratings were worse, so they moved it back to 9pm the following season.
Nflpanthers07media I still remember this game this game was so Kick-Ass had it on tape I even stayed up that night and take the aftermath of what happened on SportsCenter because I was so stoked about the game but I lost it thank God for RUclips the tackling in this game was excellent guys just flying to the football I don't think I've ever seen Marshall Faulk get tackle this many times one on one so amazing
I do with that old school MNF intro music
Why does the picture from about 1997 to 2005ish look so fantastic. I don't know, I just find it very visually pleasing.
I remember this game, best MNG! Ever...
The greatest football game I have ever seen. I remember watching this with my friends at a party and every one of us screamed, danced, spilled drinks, and hugged for what seemed like forever.
2000 had some insane MNF games - this was one of them. Epic game!
I'm here for the hit john lynch put on Faulk
One of the best MNF games EVER. What was on the line in this game was part of what made this game so great and exciting.
one of the best games i've seen in my lifetime...
And why the hell dont they put go-pros on refs nowadays?
Best mnf game i can remember. Loved watching it after i taped it and that Jaquez Green catch and hit i definitely remember that
Last 5 minutes was crazy.
53:30 John Lynch hit on Faulk...
I appreciate all the in game interviews and the full formatted games
That lateral was phenomenal, go bucs
Damn they need to bring back those ref cams 😱🔥
53:30 wow
back when the nfl was real
Not when putting your head down results in a 15 yard penalty.
I still think that play that Warrick Dunn & Shaun King (I was high on him at the time actually) made on that final Buc drive was pretty amazing; a real season saver.
1:15 - Ronde Barber intercepts Kurt Warner
3:50 - Buccaneers’ Martin Gramatica makes 35-yard FG
6:26 - Shaun King throws interception to Rams
13:06 - Marshall Faulk rushes for 2-yard TD
19:45 - Warrick Dunn rushes for 2-yard TD
26:40 - Rams convert on 4th down
27:22 - Marshall Faulk rushes for 16-yard TD
37:20 - Keyshawn Johnson hauls in 8-yard TD pass from Shaun Hill
44:22 - Keyshawn Johnson grabs his 2nd TD of the day on a 17-yard strike
57:05 - Kurt Warner throws 2nd interception of the game

1:49:55 - Kurt Warner throws his 3rd interception of the game
Hey NFL can can upload anymore Vikings games from the Randy moss era plz thx
Can u upload a few patriots games ty
They're doing 3 per franchise. They is a list somewhere but only 3.
Please upload the 1999 NFC championship game Rams VS Bucs .
Dennis Miller excited lol
Now this is one of THE games that made makes you wanna be a Bucs fan. 👊🏾
2000 Monday night football games had some classics. Jets vs dolphins being one them.
Jumbo Elliot!!!
This crazy part of the Rams-Bucs games were that they were a classic clash of styles (explosive offense vs. shutdown defense) but each team won playing the other team's style. Rams winning an 11-6 game the year prior and the Bucs win a 38-35 game.
It was a shame that it was determined later that the first down conversion by Bert Emmanuel was actually a good catch. It was initially called good, but hen the ref reversed the call after watching the replay. It would have been nice t see what King could have done with first down in Ram’s territory. That bad call stopped a good drive King had put together late in the game. The Bucs defense played incredible by keeping the Rams to only a single TD. The odd number was cause by an early Safety.
THIS GAME IS UNBELIEVABLE!!!!
5 Year Old Me: Mom, where's Dad?
My Mom:
1:37:48
I was a junior in high school and stayed up late watch this entire game. Needless to say I slept through first period.
Brian Cromartie this was a great game wish I could’ve tivoed back in the day....the Rams despite winning the Super Bowl still had the offense but the defense was horrendous and Tampa was still on the rise...two years later Jon gruden would lead them to a Super Bowl victory...
1:38:18 youre welcome. One of the smartest plays ive ever seen.
55:30 Those crusty graphics are so dated yet there's something that's awesome about them at the same time. It screams early 00's CGI.
Love it! That helmet though… lol
1:48:55 Gramatica is getting in there and mixing it up after the kickoff! 🤣
I notice that lolll...what a great game don't remember seeing a Monday night game better then this one
So I think I was about two years old at the time of this game and so obviously don't remember it. But that is a seriously epic play at 1:38:20. Was watching it on here for the first time ever and couldn't believe it. Seems like a fantastic game.
Dennis I haven't seen it yet since I watched this live and I know the exact play you're talking about.
I was at the game and the whole night was insane, in the best way possible. The Bucs got totally ripped off in the NFC Championship game the previous years when the refs literally gave the Rams an 11-6 win, this was the Bucs first time facing them again and as fans, as a collective, we wanted blood. Lynch's hit of Faulk, in the stands, looked like he killed him - and we LOVED it. But those last two mins, that play in particular, the place went more nuts than I ever heard it go before, and that included playoff games. It was such a fun and entertaining game - the most entertaining game in Bucs history (entertaining, obviously not anywhere close to the most important).
Oh man, the Schoolyard Play. (at least, what I knew it as) Was a risky lateral, no guarantee King could have made positive yards out of it but he did, scrambling for that first down (the penalty was a bonus). Oh man, why didn't we go to the Super Bowl that year...? :(
My parents had season tickets from 98-2015. I was 20 when Bucs won super bowl. The atmosphere in Ray j was so much different back then
One of the greatest games ever. I went n bought a Dunn jersey the next day
Damn, tell used to have some pretty sick angles and shots on tv
Loved that steady cam..
Tell?
Remember this game..when rayjay was rockin!
I was at this game. When Dunn scored the winning TD, I was jumping up and down so crazily that I bashed my shin and caused a deep bruise that lasted a month.
Most defineitely one of the best NFL football games period.
If you didn't know/like football this game would change your mind.
Best Monday Night Football game I’ve ever seen.
Great game. You had 4 Hall of Famers in there prime (Faulk, Warner, Sapp,Brooks) and a few others that may end up in the Hall (Bruce, Holt, Lynch). One guy that stands out the most is Marshall Faulk though. At this point in time he was most likely the best player in the entire NFL. For him to score 4 touchdowns against one of the great defenses of that era was basically remarkable.
6 in the HOF now - Faulk, Warner, Pace, Bruce, Sapp, Brooks.
@@stephenh5944 not the most exciting position but Orlando pace was the best player on the field
@@stephenh5944 You’re right, totally forgot about Pace.
I went to the Dolphins game in Miami the day before and begged my mom to take me up to Tampa for this game to no avail. Would have been a heck of a game to be at live, and needless to say the crowning moment of Shaun King’s career. The game was so good that even the announcers (mainly Dennis Miller) couldn’t hide theie genuine reactions to the game’s biggest plays. Truly one of the best MNF games I’ve ever watched. Back when MNF was must-see TV and the marquee game of the week the way it should be. The new TV deal when Goodell took over in 2006 ruined it all. NFL PrimeTime was a casualty of this as well.
Also, what a crazy play by Dunn/King at 1:38:21! And a dirty hit by both Mike Jones and Ronald Williams at the end of it.
Man I was just in High school, this brings back good memories
This was a MNF game I couldn't wait to get off from work
Marshall Faulk from 1999-2001 was a different species 🔥💪🏾
Bruce Holt The marshal man and Warner wow what a combo.
This is an awesome Monday Night football game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers against the Rams from 2000
The Buccaneers should've went to SuperBowl 34 if the referees shouldn't reverse the challenge and made a bad call of the catch.
Bucs should of been defending champs this year. Screw the rams and the refs!
What a game and what a match up. That. Was. Football
I miss the late 90s early 2000s Bucs. Like I miss the late 90s early 2000s x music scene in ybor!
Ybor?
Thought we was going to be a Dynasty instead the Patriots
Best play of the game
1:38:17
How is that not in the time stamps?
No idea the most exciting part of the game !
The Rams, for all the talent they had, should have probably won at LEAST 2 titles..won it all the year prior to this..lost in the Wild Card in this 2000 season, mainly because of Warner's injuries, but had an even better team in 2001 than they did in '99, and found a way to lose in the Super Bowl..
Cat Mario. rams were being spied on by belichick and thats why they lost to the patriits
lol patriots
Cat Jordan you mean the red white and blue patriotic bowl go back and watch that game they were hitting Warner late blasting the W.R.S before the ball got there they were 16.5 point favorites and lost.
The Rams only won one SB because the refs gave them a victory in that NFC Championship game versus the Bucs - they should have won nothing.
In addition to the Rams actually winning the SB in 99, their scoring offense and defense were better in 99 than 01. Not sure why you'd think they were better in 01, but to each their own.
I love to see Jacksonville-Miami wildcard game from 2000.
1:25:13 I do know what. Water. Thanks for keeping it clean, Fouts.
Greatest Show on Earth!!!
53:57 "John Lynch with another lynching!"
I have a feeling that comment wouldn't fly today lmao
Lmao I had to do a double take when I heard that
I was there. Great memories. Go Bucs!!
Unfortunately a win in green bay would allude Tampa until 2005
Some great Auburn players going at it and shaun king a Tulane university legend going Undefeated in 1998
1:38:15 best play of the game in my opinion
God was RayJay ever LOUD on that night
I was at that game and it was rockin' - but really every game back then was. I was at a MNF game against the Vikings in the same time frame (was '99) and it was amazingly cold for Tampa, but the crowd in that game was insane, I'd say even more so than this one. Also just happened to be at the '98 Vikings game where the Bucs gave them their only loss and the crowd was nuts - it was literally every game I went to from 98-2003 it was like this for every game. The last game I went to was against Carolina a couple of years ago and there was maybe 30,000 people there and it was like going to a Rays game it was so quiet in the place. I really really hope with Winston there that this team gets buzz again because a hot crowd makes watching games, on TV or in person, so much better.
So much better than the Chiefs-Rams basketball game of 2018.
True that
1:55 never seen that camera view before. Pretty cool
Madden 2003 made Marshall Faulk my favorite running back of all time
This was a great game! Forgot how out of place Dennis Miller was doing football commentary.
Bruccccccce! You just had to be there!!
bears vs saints 2006 NFC championship game please

Keyshawn Johnson 7 rec (13 targets), 116 yds, 2 TD

Warren Sapp 2 sacks, 5 tackles
I’m a Bucs fan and this is the greatest regular season game in the history of the team and yet I can barely watch this with the spotter in the booth yelling “GAWWWNNNN” into a hot mic after every single pass
I can't believe you guys didn't upload a single Steelers game yet! and uploaded all 3 games for some teams like the Packers.
Thank you.
lol they uploaded a Steelers jaguars playoff game weeks ago
yeah but the Jags won :D
Wow; this game was better then I thought. When I go looking for games to Download and archive for later viewing; Ive passed this up since I hit it the middle and see 24-14 end of 3rd Bucs Im like; game over; the Bucs D is just going to tee off and beat this team into submission. But wait; fast forward a little more, Rams take a lead! Okay gotta download, delete 'revenge', forget the outcome, might be a couple of weeks of DLing other thrillers.
Bruce knew that hit was coming lol.
53:36...witness John Lynch greatness...
From midway thru the 3rd quarter, the rams defensive line were gassed. They weren’t ready for that humidity
1:55 a ref cam?? where has that gone?
I had a big bet on the Bucs in this game.
that rams defense was historically awful. nearly gave up as many points as their offense scored. if the defense played average they have repeat.
And what made it strange is that the previous year with basically the same roster, they allowed the 4th fewest points.
Rams should have been in the super bowl. I know the Ravens D was legendary, but it kinda seems no one deserved to win the super bowl that year. No one was good.
If the refs didn't blow the game for the Bucs in that NFC Championship Game and give the Rams a W, the Rams would have never one-peated.
1:38:20 summed up the Rams defense that year.
The Rams defense was even WORSE in 2001, the year after. The play accurately represents the 2001 defense more in my opinion.
@@Carson_TK Huh? The Rams defense was way better in 2001 by every significant defensive metric. Big reason they went 14-2.
where can I find the Rams Bucs 1999 championship game
Regular season games are never considered "revenge."
GONE !!!
1:49:25 man what a costly drop by Isaac Bruce. If he makes that catch the Rams probably send this game into OT.
Man incredible
What was that camera angle on that interception?
Here, these two teams face each other in a rematch of the 1999 NFC Championship Game, but this time the Buccaneers triumph over Warner and the Rams
1:38:20 this play is the clutches play of NFL
(this is a exxageration)
@NFL Please upload the game where Walter Payton rushed for 275 yards against the Vikings in which he had the flu and a fever.
1:38:25 what a play
I question it still today. Why wasn’t Dunn returning punts??? 4.28 40 speed.
Did anyone notice that all 3 games they uploaded are this week's matchups? Raiders-Titans, Rams-Bucs, Saints-Falcons.
I think that was the point
Well i thought that too, but i went back to previous weeks and that's not the case. But i don't know, you could be right.
Idk either tbh lol might be a coincidence
Who cares? It's free games I'm liking it.
Never have I ever been so early in the comment section
