My dad had a new one in 1969, dark brown with light brown interior.
It was so fast and comfortable. I have fond memories of it as a kid!

The deuce & a quarter is one of the most beautiful cars on the road. You did well with this purchase.

Good for you. It's a beautiful car. It has the optional Buick rally wheels. I just hope you didn't pay too much. The red repaint is attractive, but does not coordinate properly with the original interior. But, you said you planned to change it. Good luck. I'd like to see some of your other cars.

They did not care, man?! Volkswagen had no radiator and the 225 would over heat before you got it home, hahahahau?!

Yeah, the beginning; when GM had just begun to stop caring about quality and gas mileage. And that attitude would carry on right through the Malaise Era of the 80s when 95% of what came out of Motown was junk. Fast f'ward to present day 4/2022, gas is avg.$6 a gal. This behmoth would better serve the environment as artificial reefs. 😄

No way?! 1969...It was a piece of shydt?! Japan has cars to run on two dollars for two weeks. And motown comes out with Electra 225?! Would not start, window would not go up and convertible top only went half way up, but would not come down?! Hahahahaha!? It was time to retool?! I would like to see would it can do now?! It did not run except from the lot to the gas station then had to call a tow truck?!

That s a beautiful Buick . Buicks are one of the most reliable cars. My first car was a1969 Buick LeSabre and since then I've been driving nothing but Buicks. I v had almost 50 over the last 45 years. I

I never had to call a toe truck . My 69 LeSabre has almost 400.000 miles and the engine never been apart . If you don't like American cars stick with your Japanese s**t .
