Really well done. I teach high school design and will be sharing your channel when we resume in the fall. I don't think I've seen a trend report based on text effects before.
Side note... It's really not a huge deal, there are many ways to do anything in Photoshop or Illustrator, but I just want to point out that Make with Top Object will work regardless of whether you have the shape and type aligned or not, just as long as the shape is on top.
I found your channel from your gaming thumbnail video which I found very useful and straight to the point, now I am subscribed and enjoy watching your vids! Keep doing what you're doing!

I used Font Forge to edit an existing font to have letters they didnt have in it. Try it out. Its basically just creating paths on it

For the last effect where you set the distorted layer to a dissolve blend mode, how did you animate the glistening effect so the dots appear and disappear like fireflies? Great vid btw!!
That is DISSOLVE in the layers options.

The one thing I don't get when it comes to the outline/stroke, why does everyone use this method?
You can simply convert the text in to a shape, then select the shape tool and add a perfect outline with sharp corners.
