Had mine installed 2 months ago on my Glock 43x MOS FDE and I have to say that its worth every penny. It makes a difference, it shot flatter and had way less felt recoil than my Glock 19M. If you are thinking about it and have the cash go ahead and buy it. When buying holsters I just buy holsters for a Glock 48 and it fits fine.
@Parker Mountain Machine are the barrels for the G48 made in house at this point? I'm ready to pull the trigger in this setup but I would like to know that before I do. Thank you.
I would say just look for an option on 48 holsters for a threaded barrel. I don’t have the comp yet but I’m pretty sure it would still fit in my Werkz M6 holster but it would hang out slightly. You would probably have to talk to a company and ask for a custom length to cover the last little bit. If you do find one let me know please.
Most of the time you can ask whatever company to make the holster custom for you. Tier 1 concealed apex holsters have the option to be open on the bottom but still great retainment. Also gunfighters inc was great about making a custom holster. You just send the company the links to the compensators you have on your guns and if they are a good company and you are willing to pay you can find a holster that works.
So, I have a hypothetical question that's been running through my head the past few days: If I were to take the internals of a G45/47 and stick them into a G17.5 frame with the full-length dust cover, would I be able to mount a G19.5 slide with this comp to sit flush with the frame and run it? I only ask because I really enjoy the look of integrally comped pistols, and such a setup worked beautifully with my P365 X Macro (love the comp, btw - shoots so flat it's ridiculous). I know it works differently for the P365 due to the universal FCU, whereas the Glocks are constantly hung up on the different barrel locking lugs and locking blocks between the models. But with the G45/47, the locking lugs and blocks are configured in a way that allows use of both G19.5 and G17.5 slides interchangeably. The recoil spring should be a non-issue, the dimensions of the 45/47 frame are identical to the 17 (aside from the dust cover) so everything internal should fit, the comp is flush with the slide's profile and should theoretically sit just long enough to not risk damage to the dust cover. As a company that works with these guns often, what do you think? Feasible, or nonsense?
Short answer, no. It’ll fit but not function correctly. You won’t ever get lock back. We’ve done it and it looks sick. But it requires a lot of modification to the frame. So much that nobody would pay the money it would require for us to do it as a service.
Awesome products and design. any chance you’ll make a keyed in version, like the radian afterburner? Some of us still live in communist states that don’t allow threaded barrels unfortunately 😭
Such a awesome comp I got the chance to shoot one the other day and it makes a huge difference in performance I only wish you could buy the comp without the barrel I would love to run one with my silencer co barrel
I came looking to see if it will fit the palmetto micro dagger as well? The title had PSA on it so it brought me here
"don't be a forehead" is funny af

Will the 43x comp fit the micro dagger? The micro dagger has cuts on the slide similar to the 43x
Do you have a link to the product?
I'm looking at grabbing one of these for my 43x. Can I thread anything else on there, or is not 1/2x28?
I put a stock on mine and turned down a 16" barrel to 15, 1/2. Do you have a video on how to pin and weld your comp?
How big should the gap be between the slide and the comp?
Will this winged comp work on a Zaffari Precision slide?
No it won’t. That slide doesn’t have OEM Glock nose profile
@@ParkerMountainMachineNH do you offer a comp without the wings for the 43x?
@@MrAkaPro yes, the G43 comp does not have wings.
Do they have the video for installing pmm comp on oem threaded barrel? Not trying to be a forehead here but just cant find it
Will this fit spa micro dagger ?
Anybody know what size holster to look for with a G48 including the compensator?

@@ParkerMountainMachineNH Nuts. And here I was thinking I was onto something.
Appreciate the response. Keep up the good work out there 🤙
@ParkerMountainMachineNH how does your Speedy perform after a range day? It seems like you're not afraid of the recoil damaging the movement :)
video install: "don't be a forehead"... the end.

Is that a PSA slide???
It's our slide

The comp is only 1/2” long which required a proprietary thread depth. It won’t work on any other barrel
@@ParkerMountainMachineNH oh darn that’s a shame guess that make my options easier
So then make a video about installing it…
This shows nothing.
We have plenty of install and tutorial videos on here.
