Antigua , my favorite place to visit in Guatemala. Guatemala is so underrated , of course this coming from a Guatemalan ! So many places to visit that you would be surprised. Hope you had a good time . By the way , rellenitos are my favorite snack .
Raul! My brother you are 100% correct… Guatemala might be the most underrated place for tourists in Central America. I made this video because I want more tourists to consider Guatemala as a future destination.
Great video! I went to Antigua in the late 90's and recently returned. I wholeheartedly agree with you, "I could definitely live there"! Keep pushing awesome content!
Thank you so much Byron! Antigua Guate is def on the map in terms of beautiful old cities I’ve been to… I returned to Guate to do an off the grid piece with Sarah but there was a husband situation I wasn’t aware of… 🥺… Have you been to Puerto Barrios!?
Hey Keenan! I've never been to Puerto Barrios, but I do enjoy laid-back coastal towns. The locals kept telling me that I must visit the villages around Lago Atitlan. As you know all too well, so many places to see, but so little time, lol!
I've been to Guatemala some 25 times but only to Antigua twice - as you say, very touristy. Really enjoyed your Guatemala videos. I am an entomologist and go to study insects with colleagues from UVG in Guatemala City. You will have to join us someday. And, the fried chicken in Guatemala is fantastic!

Thanks for sharing. Guatemala is so magical, unique, rich and beautiful. The Land of Jacobo Arbenz, Miguel Angel Asturias (Noble Literature Prize) and Kjell Eugenio Laugerud. I am dying to visit Guatemala again soon. God bless
Thanks for sharing. Is so rich and beautiful the United Kingdom of Guatemala established since 1609 and that extends from El Soconusco (today Chiapas) to part of Panama. Guatemala is 12th producer of silver in the world and 20th producer of gold besides having massive reserves of nickel, jade and so many other natural resources too bad big foreign companies have been taking almost everything for more than a century. God bless

@@KeenanLambert198 My suggestions: Semuc Champey and Cuevas del Rey Marcos (Alta Verapaz), Livingston and Castillo de San Felipe (Izabal), Monterrico (Santa Rosa), Tikal and El Mirador (Petén), Santiago Atitlán, San Marcos la Laguna (Sololá), and finally Fuego volcano.
Luisito welcome to the channel my brother! Guate is a beautiful place with some really kind people. I did a Little El Salvador video in your area a little while back.... Big up Luisito!!!!!

Why do you say is atheist Trap? Just wanted to clarify that… thanks for visiting though and for such a beautiful smile and voice
Spent five years there. Beautiful city. If anyone is looking for some land to buy I have the highest mountain top above the city 360 degree view and a very affluent area with four volcano View. Selling at below-market
What kind of attack? Hot sauce? 😂 but oye, if you go another time, I'll recommend Lanquin and Semuc champey. Take a bus from Guate City to Cobán, and from there to Lanquin. And finally from Lanquin you can hike to Semuc. You won't regret it my friend.
Unfortunately click-bait words to entice you. Double edge sword is that many people won't click and just read his title and think "oh heck no am I going to Guatemala. It's dangerous."
@@orlandotelevision The retention rate says otherwise but not every style of video is for everyone. I see that you had 1 video total on your channel and its earned a solid 9 views since 2021. @@katiebanks7460 It is unfortunate indeed - The click through rate on this video was initially the highest I've ever seen on my channel 12.5% in the early stages. The idea was to pull viewers into the video based on their prejudices and show them a reality contrary to their preconceived notions. And for those who know Antigua Guatemala to be great, their intrigue would in theory cause them to click.
