- Hey everyone, welcome to Harry Potter Theory. Today, we’re going to ONCE AGAIN (this is the FIFTH time I’m saying that now) be discussing the events that transpired in the Harry Potter universe AFTER the books and films ended. I have often wondered what the distant future holds for this world. I think science would inevitably reach a point where muggles gain the ability to detect magic and break the Veil of Secrecy. The political fallout of such an event would be very interesting.

I am pleased to hear that Winky kicked her butterbeer habit. I am a bit sad that people who have only seen the movies, don't know her story.
The entire JacobXQueenie problem could easily be solved by moving to london, where muggles can marry into magic, and opening the Kowalski bakery in hogsmead. Though after Queenie used, essentially, a lesser form of the imperious curse on Jacob at the beginning of COG, I'm not sure if you can come back from that level of a red flag. Its literally ol'Voldys parents all over again.
If Luna didn’t end up with Neville then I’m glad she’s with Newt’s descendant.
Luna and Neville were only a thing in the movies

Andromeda Tonks would've Joined the Order of the Phoenix. If there was any Actress who would play her, it would be Kate Winslet.
Nah. Tbh I'd just give Helena Bonham Carter a light brown wig and take out the fake teeth. Andromeda was always described as looking the spitting image of Bellatrix anyway.
If Newt and Tina are alive, I'm hoping the same might happen to Queenie and Jacob (although Jacob being a muggle probably wouldn't live that long). Hopefully the upcoming films will let us know what became of them and if they had any descendants that appeared in the main series.
In one book Harry mentions an American Quidditch player, Quentin Kowalski. It's a popular theory that he may be Jacob and Queenie's descendant.

Jacob's fate is an interesting question. While he's a muggle himself, he is a muggle whose family can be assumed to be mostly wizards. (At least from the point of the FB films onward). With that family, he likely has limited access to wizard medical "technology". So he could have survived longer than normal for that reason.
I thought the new books had been cancelled?
Cho went to Forks after discovering that Cedric is alive and a vampire. But when she saw him with Bella and Renesmee, she attacked them and was murdered by the Cullens

I always wished Newt was a bigger character in the HP series. I feel like he would’ve made things just a bit more interesting and I feel like he would’ve also got along with Hagrid with his love for magical creatures and all. I can definitely hear Newt trying to tell Hagrid not to try and keep magical creatures in his house or on school grounds as they can be very dangerous.
I can imagine Newt going in a similar way to Radagast from the hobbit. Living in a small hut with various creatures in the dark forest.
I wish Newt was a bigger character in his own movie series...

@@user-mx4is4fx3c thats not unfair at all. The main character of a series shouldn't be taking a backseat in an entire movie about them. Its not an anime with dedicated filler episodes. It was an awful movie, for many reasons but the biggest one was them not focusing on newt and instead deciding this would be a series about Dumbledore and Grindelwald for the monies with zero plan in place. The writing (for the last film), quite possibly the worst writing I've seen in media in my entire life.
It wasn't unfair, its completely justified.

When he meet tom holland and made an article about him being spiderman. Sadly placing it in the quibler made it that none believed in it. Shocked by none believing him while for the first time in hes life he had a correct theary made him become a mad scientist and play with lizard dna

Don't know about Snape but in the books Dumbledore's portrait was already in the headmaster's office by the end of the deathly hallows
Snape was headmaster so according to the tradition I would say yes. But its not mentioned in the books. Dumbledors yes that was mentioned in the deadly hollows when both Snape and later Harry talked to it

Magical creatures and where to find them was a first year text for Harry books and movies both
Yeah she wrote the world first, then she went with a child's perspective to introduce people to her world, Harry is the result of that.
Newts book as stated by another comment is first year material, so she would of had Harry down, went back a few steps, to fill the world out gave the author of several books in the franchise, Newt would be one of them.
We can safely assume that because she took inspiration from Tolkien, before his story hits it's most popular parts, the hobbit. Lord of the rings, he wrote out 6000 years of history for middle earth before dropping the characters in, this stops the overall world being built around 1 character.
She never wanted her wizarding world to centre around 1 character, the only reason why Harry is the main introduction character is because he was living in the normal human world before being dropped into the magical world.
He is your introduction point to the world she had created, as any moderate fan will tell you, Harry isn't even the most interesting character, he is far from it.

Vernon and Lucius are bad people but they are very good father's to their kids, loving them and spoiling them rotten. They should be on the good list

@@caveboy5677 I can see why you say that. But I would argue that spoiling and enabling your kids puts you in the bad category. Dudley is/was an entitled, obese bully. Draco was an entitled, snobbish bully. Their attitudes were entirely a result of upbringing and neither were well-adjusted to society.

Madam Pomfrey during the battle of Hogward was the perfect definition of a healer in MMORPG: the job of a healer is to heal the damage and prevent it from happening. (Get rid of a death eater, you just prevented him from hurting someone)

I have a question.
Why dont the witches and wizards use staffs? And if they do use staffs, who are the witches/wizards using them?
I think they can but a wand is maybe easier to use to channel magic as it can be held in one hand
Moody had a staff in the films, which we saw could be used for magic, although he used a wand as well.
Probably just the wand is more convenient and portable for everyday use.
They should be a video about other Wand makers and wand making methods. I have been so curious on if there is other legendary wands in the HP universe and if there is maybe Wand makers out there who try to recreate the Elder Wand.

Yes. There are many tales about powerful wands with titles, although some people like Xenophilius Lovegood all these wand myths are just the Elder wand being called different names. And yes, Gregorovitch actually was trying to recreate the elder wand and was rhe only reason he had it
@@mrdr0161 i would love to see a fanfiction of a Crazied Muggle who finds out he has Abilities because he studied deep into Magic and becomes a wand maker and just stumbles upon some crazy ancient method for making wands and recruits a army of Muggles to do a reverse Voldermort. I think it would be a good story.

That's a very good question.
I didn't know butter beer could be addictive, yet alone contain much alcohol. I always assumed it was the Wizarding World's version of root beer. I'm surprised they can be served to minors.
It's not particularly alcholic, but it's strong enough for an elf!
It's not gonna make a human drunk. Elves can get very drunk from it as Dobby said on GoF. Idk if it actually contains alcohol? Maybe it's like 0.5%?
not sure its suppose to be served to minors as when lupus gave one to harry he was surprised harry mentioned he had he befor and liked it. its probabbly not but but some barkeepers and shops who sell it might be easy on those rules.
@@marcelsgroot Lupin's suspicion came from Harry not being allowed to go to Hogsmead, rather than him being underage. He shouldn't have known butterbeer if he hadn't been to Hogsmead, which was why Harry hastily explained that Ron and Hermione brought some back and he tried it.
@@lizg2153 could be but can it not also be possible that youcan buy butterbeer in shops and such same as we muggles can buy beer in a bar yet also just in stores.

Cho went on to travel into the Eastern lands where she grew a long beard, became an old man and met two blue wizards, he then went back to the west and settled in a big tower.
Then he started bullying the trees so they beat him up.
on one hand the gender change is very pc but the bullying trees not so much so mmm nice theory but evens out on the pc front lol

Yeah but Wizards live longer than muggles and newt,tina and other fantastic beasts characters may be alive in that time like abeforth,albus dumbledore and Grindelwald,also kinda of topic am i the only ones who think that tina and newt would have a big family?like more than one or two kids but not necessarily as much as the Weasleys maybe three-five .

No, they can not. Ghosts can not do anything really but, Exist like in a pergutory state.
But, poltergeist (Peeves) can at least move objects, take possession of souls, etc. They can not perform "magic " either though.
So once your dead your magic dies with you, basically. Hope that helped.

Today in computer class, I made ppt about JKR and everyone who was doing JKR asked from me!
So the overall content was good, but if I had to be critical there are two things to be noted.
1. Are you seriously listing all the toons you’ve identified in the previous ones? I watched them all in order and I was amazed, not in a good way that you listed out 30 characters in part 4 and then 40 characters in part 5. Just put it in the description along with the vid links.
2. You comment on nearly every character surviving the war. Aside from Voldemort, this is practically a given and adds nothing. How would they be on the list of life after the war if they hadn’t survived.
Generally good stories but those 2 things were definitely noticeable annoyances.
I know he tries hard to get it to ten minutes for monetization but it gets fucking silly.
Are these JK Story line or someone else's?
