🌱 what is ASMR?🌱
ASMR, or Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, is described as a tingly sensation or feeling that travels from the base of the scalp down the limbs and can manifest in different parts of the body. It causes a lovely, relaxing feeling to the people who experience it, as well as sometimes pleasant 'shivers', and can help with things like insomnia or trouble sleeping. It can occur in situations like hearing a particular sound or 'trigger', and many people experience varying degrees of the phenomenon. Not everyone who listens or watches ASMR videos experiences the sensation however! Some people utilize the sounds of a soothing voice or certain trigger(s) to help fall asleep or relax, without feeling the 'tingles'. It is a blossoming community online, whose main purpose is to bring tranquility and tingles to whoever enjoys it! ✧

From the other ASMRtists I know more closely, I know that doing this full-time is often a really stressful job. It's a fun job a lot of the time, but it's still a job. And sometimes it's overwhelming having the Internet hug you to death and having thousands and thousands of people expecting content and interactions with you.
I don't know you personally, but I really hope you're in a better place and you're able to be both happy AND successful.

But sometimes it feels like a lot of pressure and you could get a creative block, but if you’re not constantly posting, you’re not making much money at all… so you NEED to be pumping out ideas but what if you can’t think of anything or a way to do it?? What happens if you have problems coming up with a scene or a script or your makeup comes out all weird? Or what if all those things line up perfectly but you post and get less than half the views you normally get? It becomes a draining sort of feeling and you sometimes get doubts about things… but then you get one wonderful message from a sweet viewer and all those stressors melt away for a bit 🥹🤍 Thank you so much for yours, and for making my day brighter today! 🤍✨
@@TheWhiteRabbitASMR No problem at all! Just remember that you’re most likely your own worst critic, and that your biggest fans will be forgiving than you are about your own work.
This sort of job is a marathon, not a sprint. And regardless of how one video does, you’re still gaining subs, growing your patrons and expanding your reach.

Going from soft spoken to whispering is my favorite trigger and i wish more asmrtists did it
Are there any other videos from the catalogue which feature this spoken pattern? Specifically, the mellifluous lilt of rising and falling intonations and drawn out words. The unpredictability of words riiiiiiiiiiiising and falling, with some words taking looooooooonger than others in their delivery is enigmatically enjoyable. If you know off-hand which keywords I would use to find others like it, I'd appreciate hearing of them.
