M. M. Dhandapani Desigar | Tamil Isai Sangam

Isai Arasu' Dandapani Desikar was born in August 26, 1908. He was the son of Muthiah Desikar. He gave his first performance in Tirumuirugal. He was a Professor and Head of the Department of Music, Annamalai University for fifteen years. He acted in Tamil films including Nandanar. Desikar is one of those singers who have performed full-fledged Tirukkural concerts.
Tamil Isai Sangam Awarded "Isai Perarignar" (1957) to M. M. Dhandapani Desigar in honor of his exceptional service for Tamil Isai.
Tamil Isai Sangam, Tamil isai Kalloori is honored to celebrate "Isai Arasu" on his birthday.
