This show was surprisingly alot better than I anticipated it to be. The chemistry between the leads is great and it's amazing how they actually talk though misunderstandings and work together instead of against each t Other.
This is the 3rd CDrama I’ve watched. I only wish more of them were as good as this one. It’s so nice to see character development and a female protagonist who is smart and ambitious.
I really loved this drama, esp Zhang Han's kisses. My goodness, they made this old lady's heart skip a beat! lol But also, they just acted so smoothly with each other and Zhang Han is a natural with his facial expressions and dialogue. I am going to check out his other dramas. I really like the FL too, she is good in other dramas as well.
I really like his character. He is caring, reasonable, and (unlike a lot of male drama leads) not afraid to admit that he likes the girl and willing to do something about it. He is also rare in that he regularly uses playful sarcasm to tease her. You almost never see that in these dramas.
I LOVE that Mingxuan is a smart AND FUNNY character! He isn't cold from the beginning. You can see he is charmed by Mo Fei as soon as he meets her. And I think he also loves the fact that she isn't afraid to argue with him and doesn't treat him like she's afraid of him because of who he is. She teaches him to be truly passionate about his work and he teaches her how to be a good and fair business executive, which she will need when she becomes a full-fledged designer. This is one of my go-to dramas since it came out. I was a fan of Zhang Han since I saw him in Boss and Me. He has only gotten better and better. :)

But I think Mingxuan learned a very valuable lesson: to always respect Mo Fei not just “protect” her, as many bosses and boyfriends do in Asian dramas do, by keeping things from her that HE deems too “worrying” for her, or that HE feels she can’t handle. I love this drama. I just finished "Here to Heart" and even though there was a happy ending, the way the FL was treated was heartbreaking. I wouldn't have minded if it had only been through one episode, but it was throughout the whole drama. I was very disappointed in that one. This drama is the complete opposite. Zhang Han and Xu Lu have great chemistry.

I watched this drama a some time ago but still hate the childish behaviour of 2nd FLs playing out their pitiful jealousy. So glad the FL said everything that she said to the 2nd FL. I'm so over women thinking they need to be enemies at this level in these dramas for a man. Come on, writers, please change the predictable tropes.
