I’ve been trying to point a young Israeli man to Jesus for about four years. I’ll ask him to promise to watch this and I know he will. This is, by far, the best sermon I’ve ever heard that teaches a sinner how to understand Christianity, hear the voice of Jesus, repent and believe. Bless you, Alistair Begg and praise Jesus!
one of the greatest preachers of our time. perhaps, if the Lord tarries, in a few decades they will say of your work - that you were the Martyn Lloyd Jones of the 21st century. May the blessed Lord always lift you up and give you voice Alistair.
nuthajason, you should look up the sermons of G. Campbell Morgan. Considered by many to be the greatest expositor of the word in the late 19th, early 20th century. And yes, Martyn Lloyd Jones was no lightweight either.’
He called my name all my life. At age 21 I heard His voice. I'm 55 now and still I hear Him calling my name. Wonderfully He loves. And with out condition He loves.
@@sectionsldrm8515 The bible says it was a great fish. I think over time, people got it in their heads it was a whale, but the text never mentions a whale. It goes on to say that from within the belly of this great fish, Jonah prayed. So I guess we could assume from that that he was alive.
I didn't know Alistair was on youtube, I listen to him on the radio. Just out of the blue, I decided to put his name in the search box and see... Wow, this 37 minutes is one of , if not thee one best sharing of the gospel I have ever heard. God bless you Alistair
At 31:15 when Alistair starts talking about people with no direction, I have to say to all parents, that direction is so important to give their kids. Keeping them aimed in the way of the Lord is number one, then help them learn what to do in life, and with life, is the next super important thing. Too many people I know never gave their kids "direction".
Chuck Colson proved the resurrection by an unusual item. He compared the resurrection and the disciples to Watergate and the men who worked with it. The disciples were poor and unimportant in society and they never gave up their insistence on the resurrection of their Lord. They were all but one murdered for it. The men in Watergate were at their lawyers within 10-12 days asking what they could get in punishment if they admitted they had lied. And these were rich, important men who knew they could get by with little punishment. Men will die for what they think is true but they will not die for what they know is a lie.
_"but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name."_ -John 20:31 19:54 "What is he saying there? He's saying that the progression to living faith in Jesus, is first of all a consideration of who He is and what He has done. In other words, here is the evidence. Sift the evidence. The evidence may provide sufficient reason for us to trust Him, it will not compel belief. If evidence compelled belief, nobody would smoke. No one would smoke! Evidence does not in itself compel belief. The evidence gives sufficient basis for further consideration. Belief then says, 'is this more believable than that?'', 'is this trustworthy or is that?', and then in believing to discover life in His name."
Too bad more people have not heard this great preaching! Excellent, reasoned call out, the essence of real preaching!
I am listening to this...crying in my heart.....come Lord Jesus
"He's calling out my name" 😫 God is truly awesome

We resurrect each day that we are alive, according to G-d's will.
