      olle åkerman Curry is a great shooter no doubt. Tho it's hard to say who would be better, back then.......a lot of things change with the rules and everything.
      Not to mention part of the reason Curry is good because he can kick the ball out to Clay. So the defense has to plan for two (now three) deep shooters who can also drive.
      Miami heat with LeBron would've destroyed gsw, but once someone figures out how to beat the dominant team, the entire league change. That's why it's not easy to be a dynasty and curry haven't done that yet.

    • @abdulali7329
      @abdulali7329 7 лет назад +3

      Maricela Campos he was a small guard playing in a big league. If curry played back then, his numbers wouldn't be as good either. Also Abdul-Rauf could score big. Just look at his college career.

    • @maricelacampos850
      @maricelacampos850 7 лет назад

      Been a wolves fan since 6/22/17 Steph would certainly be a superstar even back in the day hand check and all. but comparing chris freaking jackson to steph curry is basketball blasphemy lol. plenty of dudes put up big numbers in the college game. not taking anything away from him, mahmoud was an above average nba player that had a respectable career.

    • @abdulali7329
      @abdulali7329 7 лет назад

      Maricela Campos Curry wouldn't be a superstar because 3 point shooting wasn't a priority. Abdul-Rauf overshadowed Shaq when they played in lsu together. Curry is a superstar because 3 point shooting teams win and he uses that to his advantage. Nowadays every position shoots 3's too from pg to centers.

    That little shove by Bibby sent Williams' center of mass drift right just as he was pushing off his right foot on a stride stop trying to change direction and move to his left. This induced a valgus collapse and the acl injury. So crucial to keep your knees over your feet especially on these direction changing stride/jump stop moves

    The announcers are referring to the "4-point spot" (and its range) as "Curryland" ... as in Steph Curry, a player from another league.
    I guess given the time of year they are playing, they are not pretending to 'compete' w/ the NBA.

    • @GeeBeanie

      Ross Radtke these are former NBA players. This is like the summer league but for ex players. The NBA clearly approved it because they in NBA arenas

      @rossradtke 7 лет назад +7

      Ross Radtke what are you talking about. They at the Brooklyn nets arena right now. These owners own these arenas. They paid for them to get built. Point is curryland doesn't infringe anything. This isn't a real league. It's like arena football. Not meant to be taken seriously

    • @jayinthebx
