Mate - this was a real wow moment. Thank you for sharing this technique with us. And many thanks too, for the Key Segments that you have gone to the trouble of adding to your video descriptions. makes finding those bits that we want to return to sooo much easier!
This is clearly one of my favorite tutorials on the use of the panel. This is where I think something like a "Benz Revisit" tutorial would highlight a more recent way of tackling this edit as the panel evolves. It feels eerie like I'm Dr. Strange or the Terminator, coming from 2022 back to 2016.
Of all the tutorials I've been watching on Lumenzia, this one is the one that really 'blew me away!' I would love to see another tutorial on this topic. WOWEE!!! Thanks for all your efforts and inspirational videos.
First, that image was awesome. Love the graphic, design elements it has. Second, this new tool is a game changer if you ask me because this is a problem that comes up a lot when editing. Thanks for making this process simpler. You just made my day!
Thanks for this Greg, this was actually the feature I hoped Lumenzia could do, and now realise it can! I am wondering if I can bend the process towards the skin cleanup/retouching of the dodge and burn process whereby I am not accentuating lights and darks but trying to 'even out' the areas of skin to provide a more gradual transitional skin tone. This strikes me as a tool that could perhaps speed up this process, even if it meant picking on a sample of skin area at a time and repeating, it could in theory still be quicker overall. Instead of using a dodge/burn brush (white or black) and being CAREFUL where I brush, instead I could perhaps use a Diff mask and have all the areas of the skin in that area that are slighter darker than it's neighbouring pixel and brush across that area quickly to affect only the darker pixels/patches of skin and bring them in line with their neighbouring pixels which are protected from the mask (becoming accidentally brighter or darker etc). Super that this feature exists, Lumenzia is fantastic.
Pure genious.
Fantastic...👍
Awesome!!
Phantastic, Greg! Thank you! - So often, it's just about making some very specific kind of selection.
This is really great and well explained. I am a big advocate for using luminosity masks and in particular, Lumenzia. You do a great job.
Thanks, Steve Choatie!

This is adding a dimension to skies I have struggled with. A form of sharpness.
Fantastic Greg! This feature is a whole new ballgame to isolate intricate lighting or shadows in a photograph.

Diff may be a good tool for that to find variations to minimize. I haven’t played with that enough myself yet.
awesome
Amazing !
Really cool, will check out Lumenzia, I'm using a different plugin which is similar but this video has piqued my interest!
Greg Holtfreter great, thank you!
Muito bom! Obrigado!
great tutorial. I've tried but unfortunately, for any reason, the masking mode doesn't work/select for me :(
I don’t understand what you’re doing. Could you give a little more detail?
Sure. I've followed every step, but when I click on the select button, there nothing visibly selected
@@gregbenzphotography I think I've found where the pb is coming from

Great and useful video! Thanks for sharing.. BTW.. Were you in Valencia? It looks like the city of science stairs...!
No, wasn't Valencia. But I need to shoot there someday!
It's amazing! Thanks for your quick reply.. Out of topic (sorry for that) thank for your tutorial! Adios! :)
Great stuff … this definitely means less time spent stuffing around with calculations and apply-image.
