Defiantly have had me eyes on the fold out roof top tent for a while now, i just have my king single swag and a stretcher but my camping style is going from myself to having the missus and kids, So that fold out and 6 man deal has been in my sights for awhile now! good video!
I have had mine for 3 years now and honestly not a single problem and I have the 6 man annex. It's an amazing setup in my opinion for me my wife and our son it's perfect!

Fold out tourer is the way to go. I take my wife and son plus we have the 6 man annex and it's awesome for a private area to change in. Hoping to get the MT-1 soon and take our setup to the next level.
I just bought a Kings foldout, they seem to have more space, and not only that, but they also have an annex which to me is a big plus. Not so bad if raining unlike some others.

Love my old gen 1 king's RTT still going no issues, bit of silicone spray on the zippers to help them glide abit better after beach camping but 👍 Would love to see a comparison vid of all 3, with weights, set up time trials, pack up times, how many blankets and pillows you can jam in there and still close it, mattress comparisons, any other things you can think of 👌

Great job Kings - another quality video production to go with very affordable camping options. Would I use these on a two year trip around Aus, probably not, but considering most of my camping is no longer than a week, a couple of times per year, these are up to it and very well priced. In saying that - that ally one certainly looks pretty robust! Cheers.
Exactly! I’ve seen so many people hanging shit on Kings hear but it’s not intended for people to live in. Most people would be lucky to use their camping gear more than a few times a year and for that, it’s perfect!

I like the kings rear tub mounted roof tent. However, my navara d22 has sports bars and not sure how the tub rack could fit around them . I don’t want to remove the sports bars as I carry other things on the roof too. Any recommendations?

Has anyone had success with setting up a kings tourer x rooftop tent to a kings tubrack with the ladder facing off the side instead of coming off the rear of the car?
Can anyone help me out we have the fold out (cheaper) roof top tent and the pole that holds out the bit you zip the annex to has snapped and I can't find a replacement?

I am desperately looking to buy ASAP, one person and a large dog. I normally camp on the ground but I am over it. How would you figure out how much load you can put on top of your car? Is it dependant on the car or the rails you mount? Cheers, Thea (2022 X-Trail 4X4 )

Naaah, too much weight and wind drag up high. Fuel bills go through the roof.

Ive got one on a trailer. And when I'm finished decking the trailer out I'd gladly live out of it lol. Not for everyone tho

Can this be installed on top of a Rav4? Can I use just roof racks? or roof racks with a cargo carrier?

But you have to pack up every time you want to go somewhere! Not much good if you are in a spot for a few days but still need the car to get around!
