It’s definitely a long-term thing, I’ve managed to record some pretty good ones and I’ve gotta keep at it.

i hardly ever leave comments on youtube videos but i feel like i need to share something. her dream about the alarm clock continuously ringing no matter what she does... i always have the exact same dream. it happens like this: the alarm on my phone goes off in real life, and i hear it my dream. it doesn't wake me up. in the dream, i turn it off. it keeps going. so i move it around. i put it in drawers, under blankets, in another room, etc, just like she did in her dream, but it never stops ringing. then i destroy it - i smash my phone, hit it with a hammer, throw it far away, or down a flight of stairs, or something like that. it keeps ringing, it doesn't stop. then, just like in her dream, a familiar face appears - for her, she says it was her mother. for me, it's a loved one - a friend or relative. the alarm never stops. but at this point, after destroying my phone, throwing it away, running away from it... usually i wake up. and usually, the alarm is still going off, so i shut it off, in real life, for real this time. i always tell people about this reoccurring dream i have about my alarm, and they never understand. nobody ever relates to it. so imagine my surprise when i hear you read her dream out loud to me - my exact dream, that i've had over and over, many times before. i'm leaving this comment because i wish i could tell Mrs. Nishikawa that i have shared her dreams. but i don't know her. i never will. and since i'll never have the chance to tell her, i want somebody out there to know. thank you for this video. it is such a wonderfully entertaining watch. i wish i could thank Mrs. Nishikawa too. dreams can be so personal. i wish i could thank her for choosing to share hers with the world.
This is a really sweet comment, but, in an odd sort of way, I have the opposite problem. Somehow, even when I place my alarm at arm's length so I have to physically lurch forward to get it, or when I set my phone alarm so I have to be aware enough to use it, I seem to always be able to turn it off without much fuss. I will wake up and be totally frustrated because I managed to avoid hearing multiple alarms just because I deactivate it in my sleep. I have taken to having to move it across the room, close and loud enough to be heard, but far enough away that I cannot get to it without waking up 😂 But, I have often had similar dreams, in which I can hear it and cannot figure out why it won't stop even when I think the problem has been solved.

The weird thing is due to its unique and abstract art style its graphical style and atmosphere has aged really well.
It's both of its time and far beyond it simultaneously. The closest thing to this game I can think of is Yume Nikki.
