Sounds good. I replaced mine with a double den radio with the ac controls on the bottom. But now I'm changing back to the stock radio with blue tooth in it
I like the Kenwood and alpine stereo's for almost the same reasons the timeless classic styling compared to a lot of the other brands of stereo receivers,I have a certified refurbished Kenwood excelon kdc-x301mp3 Bluetooth CD player I got a good deal on through car toys on Amazon and heard about them online and RUclips nice stereo receiver but I never even used it for the 86 Chevy k20 custom deluxe truck I got it for, them I got ahold of a early 94 Chevy Silverado extended cab short bed Z71 tbi 350 0.40 over, and I have a classic Sony Xplod cdx L600x CD player stereo receiver it is a black faceplate that lights up in red, yellow and white dot matrix lcds cool love how it looks so didn't use the Kenwood in that truck and the current vehicle has a factory infinity CD/cassette tape player stereo and I don't want to change it, anyways I was thinking about the 5x7,6x8 probably 6x9 of the alpine type s s57 speakers and wanted to know how you thought the Bass response and the treble from them was?

Looks good and sounds great 👍

Did you have problems with the door speakers hitting the speaker grills and making noise, I'm currently having that problem
I did when I used the bracket that came with the speakers.
Are the rear speakers the same size for hatch models?? Thanks!
They are
did you ever find out what that squeaking is when driving? I have the same sound coming from the rear end of my vert, louder on bumps
Upper control arm bolts were not tight. A little grease also.
Kind of out of the blue lol but do you by any chance know what song that was being played?
Alice and chains. Rooster.
Were these pretty much plug and play ? (With the correct adapters)
Not really. I crimped on new connectors.
Alpine not Alphine, lmao! The good old days, looking good and sounding outstanding brother! 👈💯🔥
Have you considered an HEI distributor?
Davis unified ignition systems basically a Ford adapted hybrid gm HEI distributor very reliable
