Mexican Sandwich Bread Bolillos & Teleras

  • Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, bolillos and teleras are classics in every bakery around Mexico, but more importantly staples in all of our lunch boxes. This bread is perfect for filling with your favorite flavors or accompanying your dishes.
    Ingredients:
    500 gr Flour
    340 ml Tepid water
    5- 10 gr Yeast (I used 9gr)
    9 gr Salt
    2 tbsp Oil (I used olive oil)
    1 tsp Sugar for preferment (optional)
    Bake 425 F for the first 10 min, reduce to 390 F for 15-20 min
