Exactly. Just smelled it yesterday and I like it. More than Profumo. I like that it's pretty much an intense version of the original. The opening is absolutely amazing.
I bougth the 200ml of this, i smelled it at macy's and i smelled the PROFUMO and i fell in love with the PROFONDO, it smell's like the original di gio and profumo mixed, it's a beast on my skin i get 14 hour's on my skin and on my clothe's it last day's also project's like crazy on me the sillage people can smell me everywhere and compliment

I love it and I agree wholeheartedly that Profundo is more Summer/Day and Profumo is more night/cooler weather. I think you could easily get away with Profundo in a clubbing situation in the summer.
just got my profondo 10 mins ago, lemme tell you of my first impression. The opening is 50% the original Acqua di gio, 30% bleu de chanel and 20% the discontinued giorgio armani sport code, all of which I have owned multiple times before, and those three are my top fragrances of all time, albeit in the reverse order. I have said once to my girlfriend, I wish I could find a perfume that mix all of these together, fastforward and here we go, PROFONDO. Profondo to my nose has a lot from bleu de chanel that I wanna pump the 30% into 40%. It's definitely much more mature than the original acqua di gio. I love this scent... a lot
I completely agree! If you’ve worn the original ALOT as we all did years ago this isn’t much different tbh. I bought it and sold it pretty quickly but kept a decant which I then used very quickly! I wouldn’t pay retail but I’d get a partial bottle if I could get it cheap. It’s like the original on steroids Edit: I’m surprised people are saying it’s weak, olfactory fatigue maybe? I can clearly smell it on myself and clothes the next day 🤷♂️
When I first bought the original adg this is exactly how I wanted it to smell. Floral and citrusy with some blue undertones. Perfectly done and my favorite from the line

I remember a guy who looked just like you and was wearing a strong cologne, and I loved it and actually asked him about it and he said it was a French cologne worth about ~ $300. I own about 90 colognes and I just always find myself grabbing the ADG profundo, absolut,Profumo lol you just can’t go wrong with any of them. There’s a reason why they are the number one sellers and I don’t mind smelling common ADG just does everything right

I am a little late here but I finally got to this one and love it. Profumo is too thick and dark for my taste but Profondo is right in the middle at the correct spot and I agree totally with the slight "blue" vibe. Does anyone else think that Profondo and "Tiffany in love" smell really similar? The latter of course without the ADG-DNA but I just compared them and they are extremely close to each other. So much so that I instantly thought of the comparison.

People might not believe this... I test sprayed this about 30 hours ago. I've showered twice during that time and I can still slightly smell it on my hand. Very fresh smell, it's going to be my summer signature this year.

I went to check this out in the store today. I liked it. Liked it a lot. I also had a chance to check BLEU DE CHANEL Eau de Parfum Spray and Eau de Toilette. Wasn't crazy about the Chanel EDT. I liked the Chanel EDP, but not as much as Profondo! I liked this a bunch! I already ordered it. Thanks

For me when I first smelled it I felt like it's a mixture of Bleu de Chanel with the original Aqua Di Gio DNA. For me it is definetly better than the original version of Aqua Di Gio and smells more modern. If you consider buying ADG I would suggest to buy the Profondo Version. By all means Profumo has nothing to do with Profondo as I first thought because of the name similarity. Just to say that..

Ash- picked this one up online from Belk and it came in late last week; been wearing it on and off trying it out since. I really like it, and I agree with your assessment between it and Profumo. Though I like Profumo better personally (I like the complexity and the "darkness" by comparison), Profondo DEFINITELY will get tons of wear this spring and summer. It's especially fantastic outside in the fresh air... it's just wonderful outdoors! I like it more with each wear. When I first sprayed it on, I was kinda, "Meh, same old...", but as it dried down and as I've worn it more, I REALLY enjoy it and am glad I have both. Definitely a modernized version of the OG. I look forward to smelling it side-by-side when the stores open back up. My skin really absorbs fragrance so sometimes they don’t last on me, but this one has incredible sillage, great projection for the first 2 hours, then even after it dies down there’s a nice scent cloud for another 2 hours. All in all, it’s pretty noticeable for about 4 hours, and I get a total of about 8 hours; folks can still smell it when they get close. It’s a fantastic value for the price. Definitely one I’ll always have in my collection.
@@Chris-oh4ej Chris it really depends on the sent profile you’re after… Profondo is definitely way more aquatic and “green”. Profumo is smokier and darker with more incense. And then the new Parfum is very much like the original, which is aquatic too, but I would say less green. Are you looking for something, very springtime and early summer? Day or night? Or year-round/general?
Even heavily discounted, this is over $100 a bottle. One of the few I'll pay retail if i have to. I think all the flankers have a tough job as you are competing with the most successful frags out there. Absolu is another one i absolutely love the smell.
I still have yet to find a cologne I like as much as Invictus Legend. Total compliment getter and isn’t offensive. it’s my go to work scent but just picked up Profondo so will see how well that works.

Ash- picked this one up online from Belk and it came in late last week; been wearing it on and off trying it out since. I really like it, and I agree with your assessment between it and Profumo. Though I like Profumo better personally (I like the complexity and the "darkness" by comparison), Profondo DEFINITELY will get tons of wear this spring and summer. It's especially fantastic outside in the fresh air... it's just wonderful outdoors! I like it more with each wear. When I first sprayed it on, I was kinda, "Meh, same old...", but as it dried down and as I've worn it more, I REALLY enjoy it and am glad I have both. Definitely a modernized version of the OG. I look forward to smelling it side-by-side when the stores open back up. Thanks for this great review; I was hoping you'd do exactly what you did b/c I was curious about your thoughts in relation to Profumo. Keep it up friend; and stay safe and well!
hey man im kinda late on this but can you tell me about the longevity and how long it lasted on your skin?
@@Chris-oh4ej Chris- the longevity on this is fantastic as is projection. My skin really absorbs fragrance so sometimes they don’t last on me, but this one has incredible sillage, great projection for the first 2 hours, then even after it dies down there’s a nice scent cloud for another 2 hours. All in all, it’s pretty noticeable for about 4 hours, and I get a total of about 8 hours; folks can still smell it when they get close. It’s a fantastic value for the price. Definitely one I’ll always have in my collection.

@@Chris-oh4ej Chris it really depends on the sent profile you’re after… Profondo is definitely way more aquatic and “green”. Profumo is smokier and darker with more incense. And then the new Parfum is very much like the original, which is aquatic too, but I would say less green. Are you looking for something, very springtime and early summer? Day or night? Or year-round/general?

Even heavily discounted, this is over $100 a bottle. One of the few I'll pay retail if i have to. I think all the flankers have a tough job as you are competing with the most successful frags out there. Absolu is another one i absolutely love the smell.

I still have yet to find a cologne I like as much as Invictus Legend. Total compliment getter and isn’t offensive. it’s my go to work scent but just picked up Profondo so will see how well that works.

I love it but how many sprays should i do? It seems pretty strong so i only put 1 spray but then i never really get compliments even though i think i reek with it
I used Jeremy Fragrance's "5-spray" technique and got awesome feedback throughout the day! I'm glad I bought the 4.2 and am considering getting the 6.7 as a backup😂
