Nice I am enjoying the evening...Chillin to some funky jams... ☮
+Karl Miller Thanks Karl, good to hear
That it vibrates this sound ... very good ..vc authorizes me to play a letter on top of that sound...bless
Yeah!!!! love this one!
Thanks so much Kasplantje! Keep tuned, more reggae tracks to follow soon. Keep jamming!
The Chords played are Am-G (I think)
This fits in Am&Em key... plus their major counterparts, C&G (resp.). However IMO playing the Em/G pentatonic with this sounds way better so I see no reason why people are bitching its in A(m)
That it vibrates this sound ... very good ..vc authorizes me to play a letter on top of that sound..
to nice it up play the c major 7 to the b minor 7 and you ear tha wicked sound[whit a soft strings]
***** Glad you enjoyed it! I'm open to requests for future jam tracks, so let me know if this is a direction you like and I'll do more of them.
when i play over this it doesn't sound reggae - are there particular scales that work best or notes that give it that reggae sound when doing rhythmic improv?
Mee Hi Mee, I often tend towards minor pentatonic and also some chromatic stuff when soloing over reggae. The "reggae sound" is also often - as you pointed out - a rhythmic thing with a fair amount of reverb and/or delay and echo. Try out any combination of those to see what works for you.
OriginalJamtracks This also feels more like A minor than G7?
Mee It's very much a plausible reggae rhythm, but it's in Amin which is common key.
orion681 yeh but its a very happy sounding which is why i feel G7 is the key over the Aminor personally.
This is a cool track man, hope to see more soon! Thanks!
Peppa plg
Hi, Just play the A pentatonic scale or the G pentatonic.Any inversion works.Keep it simple, and this a really cool backing for flute.
+ron weiss Great, glad you like it! Would be really interesting to hear this track combined with flute. Thanks for the comment.

Hi can i also use this for more than practice?
Hi, what do you want to use it for?
Original Jam Tracks recording tracks and putting them om my channel
Ok sure, you're welcome to use these backing tracks, just be sure to add a credit to this channel
thnx!
this is in A for fuck sake!
Hi matt p, to my ear it is in G - the first chord is Amin which I think of as (ii) and the second chord is G which I think of as (I), so to me it is in G. So the chord progression is alternating between (ii)/Amin and (I)G throughout the song. But at the end of the day it doesn't really matter so just try to jam with it and cheer yourself up ;) Thanks for subscribing!
Original Jam Tracks What mode? Im hearing A minor pentatonic and g mixolydian is working ok but thats just because its from the a minor mode. I can see why you are hearing g though
Totally Am
This stuff is in G
Ara Unda Navi Hey Ara, ya I agree and also think it is in G, in the sense that it is in the key of G. Alternating between G and Am is to me like a ii to I progression within the key of G. Even though Amin is a chord that fits into that progression, it does not mean it is in the key of Amin, if that makes sense to the commenter above? Thanks for your comment by the way.
chords please
Hey! The chords alternate between Am and G. Enjoy!
Thank you
For sure
this is irie
Thanks for the appreciation man!
