I love you! Thank you for making this so easy, I just started sewing last week and I’m making my very 1st dress with sleeves and I really appreciate how easy you made this project for me.
Same here the pattern curves and connecting it was always so worrying heh Gonna try it a second time though Then if this is successful I'll try big clothes for peopleee
THANK YOU I’ve been making fleece sweaters for my husband and for the life of me just couldn’t figure out how to sew the sleeves on. This was perfect thank you so much
Thank you SO SO So much for making this video. I was making a cardigan for my daughter and i just couldn't see how the pattern was telling me to sew on the sleeve. Your video helped me after only 2 minutes. I appreciate it! thank you
I came back for this, your hemming-sleeves method. (I got some reassurance about putting sleeve in, without thinking too hard about the cuff ... returned, searching because I realized needed your method!) ☺
Girl, thank you I could not understand how to do a hemline stitch. Thanks for the tips for the sleeve with the shirt opened before you sew it. I forgot about this method I have been using the base stitch. Great job!
This is great, I wanted to take sleeves off of one shirt (because I hate baby doll sleeves but I love the shirt itself) and sew sleeves from an older shirt on but I didn't want to have to take the stitching out long ways down the sleeve to make it flat, so I really appreciate you showing the second method, I know someone said it was a home sewers method in the comments but it really helps for what I'm trying to do!!
Sleeves are definitely something that you have to learn through trial and error. I can't even tell you how many times I've had to rip out the sleeve because it was just wrong, but you just have to keep trying and eventually you will get better.
i cried last night at the sewing class i was taking cuz i tried like 3 different sleeves and they were a disaster ..thank you so much for this ❤ but i was wondering if you could make more videos about different types of sleeves .thanks again
New subbie here! Thank you so much!! I only knew the 2nd way to insert sleeves and i absolutely hate it!!! My last projects were altered to do raglan sleeves. I am now confident to try the first way that you did. Thanks again!
i don't recommend sewing the sleeves set in. i prefer the first method which is the flat method. the flat method is actually the professional way. the set in method is the homesewer's method. great video!
