For this model Taylor uses D’Addario XS coated phosphor bronze light .012-.053. Really good strings. I’ve once changed strings in my 214 to some cheapest Ernie balls, because I only had those at the moment and guitar sound was just bad. Then I put on those D’addarios back and guitar sounds just amazing. Strings are quite thin so they are easy to play, but are surprisingly loud and good sounding. They got this metallic but warm sound that you want from acoustic guitar. They also sound really good when guitar is plugged to an amplifier. They are coated, so they last longer and are worth extra money. There are other good strings, for example Elixir, but I’ll probably never put other strings to my Taylor 214
Great guitar . Love mine , the rosewood version
Excellent video, to the point, no 10 minutes bla bla bla. The guitar sounds great,
The strings: can you tell me what tipe are those ?
