The thumbnail got me! 😂 BTW, if you have hood clearance issues, @tuningbynick made a super low profile K valve cover for his K-swapped 997. I believe he's putting those into production.
You might want to check the rules, but I don't think you can do equal length 4-link bars because it changes the chassis side of the suspension mount based on 11.d.
I would argue that this falls under the next sentence of 11.d: In the case of live/solid axle RWD vehicles, suspension pickup points may be added to facilitate converting to alternate axle locating method style (watts link , 4 link, panhard bar, etc) and alternate spring/shock mounts may be used. There's an AE86 in GLTC right now running the exact same Equal length 4 link setup, I'm pretty sure. Eitherway I doubt we'll ever touch the pointy end of the field with a stick axle, lol
If he's building it for GLTC probably no point in supercharging. This thing will be light and there is a power to weight limit. I'm sure he'll hit that with an N/A K
Hmm that engine sits so high and forward in a 86 chassis . Wonder what the final weight split will be ? Since K series are about the same weight with aftermarket parts as a Toyota V6 G series standard there so over rated just HYPE swaps these day . Maybe Krap swapping a MK5 Supra would have been more a interwebz blow up swap .
We’ll find out on the final weight and corner balance when it’s mostly ready! Then again I’m not building this thing for the internet. This 86 is for personal fantasy.
I see K-Swap, I click like.
We need to get Jackie down to VIR more often!
Jackie is expanding his man of vision to its extreme😂he's flying
Also, can we get a PhD "Man Of Vision" t-shirt, please 😂
Yes I shall try lol
The dudes at Six Star are legit!

Interesting! I'll reach out.
So nice seeing you this hyped! This car is gonna be nuts
Looking forward to watching the build and seeing the results!
CHAAAAAAACH!!!! The KING!!!
Future DK! That car was meant to be driven at a slight slip angle. If any car fits your style, that’d be it!
Ps…ITB in the future!? 🙏😆
We already have ITB’s on the 4AG Blacktop 20v street car, so won’t be going for the ITB on this build.
So excited to see this happen!
Let's go!!
Loved this episode ❤❤❤
Yuuuuh I remember talking to you about the 86 at road America for nascar X Gridlife event glad to see the build !
Finally get this show on the road!
That header :O
Looking forward to seeing this completed!! Well… “completed” as in race ready. No project car is ever completed
You know a drysump would really help with the height clearance 😄and I agree try not to change the stock geometri by moving the subframe down.
lol I wish. Maybe one day
I know a young fast driver who can test the engine and the car for you when it's done. :D
Ok, hear me out ...bigazz "Big Country Labs" wing .
Absolutely NOT
Titan7 Arcteryx jacket goes harrrrd
So good. lol

"Man of vision"
The yaris engine in an AE86 would be ballistic. The g16e-gts makes 400+ with bolt ons and is lighter than the k series.
We had this K24 from years ago and I sadly don’t have infinite budget
Bingo - always more fun when half the shit doesn't work then something that just does!
New merch? "Man of vision not execution" coming soon ?
Lol we totally should do that one
What mount kit are you using? JSP Fab makes a really billet mount kit for this!
We have the JSP mounts in the car holding the engine in already!
Jimmy Oaks did it first lol or at least has a great video reference log of videos
Please tell me this isn't the 20 valve red one you had in the past
It’s a different AE86! That one is the street car, it’s alive and well.
What trans are yall using?
How about a PPG K series sequential conversion kit???? 😁
Stock S2000 trans from my AP2 long ago!
@JackieDing86 sweet! Looking forward to this build!!!
Where is the thonking emoji when you need it? 🤔
Will it be Supercharged?
If he's building it for GLTC probably no point in supercharging. This thing will be light and there is a power to weight limit. I'm sure he'll hit that with an N/A K
Version 1 will for sure be Naturally aspirated. Maybe when we change the car up for Version2 we'll go for a different swap or turbo/SC!
