forget about the rx350, or the plug in RX.. this is the one to buy. if it wasnt for this model coming out I wouldnt have bought one.. Had mine a year, smooth, quiet, quick and torquey when needed.. good on gas for the most part. overall I love it, no squeaks and rattles.. it is a luxury SUV, and the perfect size if you want to zip around, but not big enough if you want to haul big people around.. Im 6'5" tall, and I fit very well... it not as lux as a X5 or GLE but its smaller which Iike, and not as much $$ as those either.. depends on your needs.. I like my RX a lot better than the TX I looked at or Q60, or MDX.. It has very nice refined feel, also excellent on highway drives to Toronto 401. Sound system will blow your ears out.. its powerful.

LOL I own both cars... I am associated with the Toyota plant throught family and friends, they build the RX there. He posts so much FALSE information that I have actually through a management friend of mine issued a complaint to Lexus Canada.. My buddy said they take this sort of thing seriously and will investigate, if they find he is making false statements to slander or put Lexus down without any information they will issue a letter to cease and desist or he will be sued.. he posts false statements so I think he might be in trouble. Hes the worst..

Really wish the NX FSport came with the Lexus brake calipers. The copper is simply divine even in that gloomy weather. Would take this over the competition as many do. Great video Redline, keep up the momentum. 👏🏾 👍
Lexus was ahead of the times with that spindle grille. When it first came out I thought it was the ugliest thing ever but now I think it looks really good and distinctive
@@learnmore2187 absolutely love it. Best Lexus we’ve owned, this is our 5th. More power than the previous V6 model, latest technology and better fuel economy. The best of both worlds. We got it ceramic coated, tinted and it comes dechromed from the factory so with the black wheels it looks like a black edition. The new technology takes a bit of learning but that’s because there’s heaps to learn. Second key arrived last week so we’re happy owners.
This is the only rx which is bang for ur buck will wait for the price to go down to get a certified !! coz of the adaptive suspension and rear wheel steer , and hp with sports seats .. and decent gas mileage

Great review…looking forward to driving it soon…didn’t care for the 350h….motor sounded terrible…as for the 6 speed choice, I’ve read other places that the 6 speed weighs less then the 8 speed and because of the power of the electric motors, you don’t need as many gears since the electric motors pick up a lot of the loss in torque between shifts…makes sense.
I had one of these as a loaner while my 2021 RX F-sport was getting service. The suspension is great and a lot less bouncy than the previous gen (I had a 2016 RX too). The down side is interior was kind of cheap looking even with the massive infotainment. I also hate the black wheels Lexus seems to favor currently.
How can someone watch this video and say 500h F Sport doesnt have more power compared to the other RX models, and who even upvotes? Do you guys pay attention or nah?
The 4 cyl is very smooth actually and it has a lot more torque than the V6.. So its faster by quite a lot.. I had a 2016 RX a few years back before switching to Mercedes and then now back to the RX.
@@twfinc6855it has more torque because of the turbo and the electric motor, but having a turbo puts more pressure on the engine aka it won’t last as long.

Love the reliability, comfortable ride, mileage and resale value of my 2022 RX. I do NOT foresee these new powertrains being as faithful or holding their values as well. I would buy an X5 X40i over this. Looks better, more fun to drive and not bad as far as reliability. Only thing I hate about the BMW is service costs and resale values. I intend to do my own services though…. as I’ve done on my Lexus.
My plan is to get either the 2021 RX or the 22 version. I like how this car looks, but I’m not interested in a more complicated car or the unknown reliability. 2024 LC 500 and the 2021 RX 350 F sport: perfect together.
I am on my fourth RX. (Non- F Sport). I am noticing a glaring disparity between RX interiors and those of the new Mazda, Infiniti, Genesis, etc. Lexus has a distinctly downmarket and uninviting cabin currently. That infotainment screen is ungainly, and looks exactly like it was lifted from a Toyota.

nahhh dude.. Ive owned last gen and the new gen RX is better.. Its nice when you look in real life. RX500 is faster, and quieter than last gen, and in sport mode actually does tighten steering and suspension a bit... also a LOT quieter than the QX60.. I drove one and was NOT impressed also the bose sound system is garbage.. We are looking at a mazda for my wife, still not at nice as my RX, but better than her 2020 RAV4 limited Hybrid. GV80 is very nice.. but the RX is nicer and slightly larger than the GV70.. Ive driven all of them.

@@naveenthemachine I think the RX350h is way more quiet than the RAV4 from what I’ve seen. I’ll need to test drive one but I was not impressed with RAV4’s NVH levels, even the CR-V Touring was a lot more quiet.

CX70 has a lot more plastic, the RX is way nicer.. my wife looked at one to trade her RAV 4... The CX is nicer than a RAV.. The rav and RX are not comparable at all in any aspect, size, ride, quality, quietness.. power.. In any way even though douche back troll naveen says its a dressed up rav... hes clueless. I own BOTH.

10:40 it’s kinda strange that the RX500h F Sport interior is only black since the trim is a bit sporty and sinister but yeah any color besides black would be nice in red , sepia type color, etc
This is a hard pass for me regardless of the horsepower and torque. To spend well over $70k for a 4 cylinder engine system is a crime. Reliability is out of the picture now that Toyota is recalling their new 4-cylinder engines like crazy. They just don’t build these cars like how they used to anymore. That price range could get me better alternatives like the Germans, Acura MDX Type S, Genesis GV80, and so on.
@@avdp9095they’re not recalling the engines but they have been widely buying back many cars with this engine in it. A client of mine fell in love with her RX but it had a phantom exhaust issue bc of the engine. It’s a known issue but they can’t rectify it so if you are unlucky enough to experience it they have been buying the car back from you. She ended up going safe and buying an ES350 when she got her money back. She knew she could trust the V6
interesting enough for those interested, trading my rx500h for a X5, need more space for my business products and the sloping roof line in the back is an issue for me.. Also they get stolen a lot, caught someone taking a picture of my vin number at Fairview mall parking lot in kitchener ontario.. I will update on my likes and dislikes on the X5.
Gorgeous color...interior lacks prestige unfortunately. But 5.4 seconds is great for an SUV like this. If i want crazy speed and bad fuel mileage ill get a Durango Hellcat or a Tesla...but this is a great medium
A Durango rt is as fast as the 500h yet the Durango looks way better and the interior is nicer with leather doors and dash. Not to mention the Durango drives a lot better
nahh I had one.. the new one blows it away.. you have to look at one and drive it.. Very nice car. Its improved, but I would only buy the RX500h. Not the 350.. its pretty weak in power.

They also didn’t have much choice. The laws are changing and make it almost impossible for car companies to continue with the v6. It’s not just Lexus.

I hope this line of drive train doesn’t suffer from the same issues affecting Tundra and Sequoia

I like it but unfortunately it cost $ 108k in Germany, for that price I can buy a X5 or GLE with a inline 6 Turbo engine.

Good thing 500h doesn't have e cvt. It might improve fuel economy but won't feel sporty for some people.
its not sporty.. but it has some sport to it, and is quick and nimble around town and fun to drive actually.. The torque is fun with over 400 ftlbs

I still think for daily driving and as family car, the RX350H is the best trim, amazing fuel economy, decent acceleration, and probably the best NVH.
Just get a rav4 hybrid limited. Same car just as nice better mpg and a much bigger trunk too. It’s not significantly noisier

Reliability is out of the picture now that Toyota is recalling their new 4-cylinder engines like crazy. They just don’t build these cars like how they used to anymore.
That price range could get me better alternatives like the Germans, Acura MDX Type S, Genesis GV80, and so on.

No recalls for the 4 cilinder engines. It is a magnificent engine. 6 and 8 cilinder engines over and out.
@@avdp9095they’re not recalling the engines but they have been widely buying back many cars with this engine in it. A client of mine fell in love with her RX but it had a phantom exhaust issue bc of the engine. It’s a known issue but they can’t rectify it so if you are unlucky enough to experience it they have been buying the car back from you. She ended up going safe and buying an ES350 when she got her money back. She knew she could trust the V6

interesting enough for those interested, trading my rx500h for a X5, need more space for my business products and the sloping roof line in the back is an issue for me.. Also they get stolen a lot, caught someone taking a picture of my vin number at Fairview mall parking lot in kitchener ontario.. I will update on my likes and dislikes on the X5.

Gorgeous color...interior lacks prestige unfortunately. But 5.4 seconds is great for an SUV like this. If i want crazy speed and bad fuel mileage ill get a Durango Hellcat or a Tesla...but this is a great medium
A Durango rt is as fast as the 500h yet the Durango looks way better and the interior is nicer with leather doors and dash. Not to mention the Durango drives a lot better

nahh I had one.. the new one blows it away.. you have to look at one and drive it.. Very nice car. Its improved, but I would only buy the RX500h. Not the 350.. its pretty weak in power.

Scottie Kilmer warns against turbocharged engines for their shorter lifespan and stress on the motor, recommending a naturally aspirated V6 instead.
The hybrid system will reduce the stress quite a bit on the engine especially in start stop situations.
