When you walk your dog, ALWAYS CARRY PEPPER SPRAY. You never know if another aggressive dog will show up, or someone like this person. It's simply about protecting yourself.

I've lived at my small apartment complex for about six years. I wouldn't treat a new neighbor this way. I actually had a new neighbor claim I couldn't walk in the back yard because i own dogs. She didn't want my dogs out back. Lol Then she continued to say that I should stay out front. I told her if we went by your logic then you couldn't use the driveway out front because you live out back. People can be jerks. We haven't argued after that, she made no sense.

Actually what that Karen is saying is correct. ESAs are not protected by the ADA as they are not tasked trained, and are not allowed in non-pet friendly areas, only in housing now. Service dogs, on the other hand, have public access rights, as they take on years of training to aid someones disability. I'm not sure if the person recording knows the difference and idk what their dog does, but overall "ESA service dog" isn't a thing. This situation could've been handled way better with a civil conversation 😅

One time this Man Karen was trying to terrorize me with his motorcycle. He was driving around me, like he was making circles around my S10 pickup. Then he raced ahead of me, pulled into a strip mall and turned around. When I passed him he started following me again, except that I was genuinely scared about what he was doing pulling ahead of me so far. I suspected he pulled out a weapon of some kind. So I decided right then to take him out of my life for good; I carefully planned this; I made a slow right turn with him right on my ass, just as I expected. Halfway into the turn I completely STOPPED, not caring if he rammed my tailgate. I saw him panic and drop his motorcycle 😅. He didn't hit my truck, but he was on the ground yelling at me last I saw him in my rear view mirror. That look on his Karen face was priceless! 🤣 I've never thought he was a threat: 3500 lb truck vs 400 lb motorcycle. But thinking he had a gun scared the $hit out of me and he deserved it.

Actually what that Karen is saying is correct. ESAs are not protected by the ADA as they are not tasked trained, and are not allowed in non-pet friendly areas, only in housing now. Service dogs, on the other hand, have public access rights, as they take on years of training to aid someones disability. I'm not sure if the person recording knows the difference and idk what their dog does, but overall "ESA service dog" isn't a thing. This situation could've been handled way better with a civil conversation 😅

If someone walked up on me like that in an aggressive manner, I don't even think it would be a conscious decision, it would just be a defensive reaction, they'd get slugged. I have a lot of health issues, and in my mid 30s, I am much slower and weaker than I was in my 20s because of recent issues. My instinct is to strike first and hard, and that woman clearly approached the lady with camera in a hostile manner, no ambiguity there at all.
Also, I don't know what state this woman lives in that the cops told her there is nothing they can do, but in my state, approaching someone in a hostile manner like that is itself an assault.

One time this Man Karen was trying to terrorize me with his motorcycle. He was driving around me, like he was making circles around my S10 pickup.
Then he raced ahead of me, pulled into a strip mall and turned around. When I passed him he started following me again, except that I was genuinely scared about what he was doing pulling ahead of me so far. I suspected he pulled out a weapon of some kind.
So I decided right then to take him out of my life for good; I carefully planned this; I made a slow right turn with him right on my ass, just as I expected. Halfway into the turn I completely STOPPED, not caring if he rammed my tailgate.
I saw him panic and drop his motorcycle 😅. He didn't hit my truck, but he was on the ground yelling at me last I saw him in my rear view mirror. That look on his Karen face was priceless! 🤣
I've never thought he was a threat: 3500 lb truck vs 400 lb motorcycle. But thinking he had a gun scared the $hit out of me and he deserved it.
