There's been more than a few games where some geek is jumping around, dumping sweat, getting bodied, and then magically has practically 100% accuracy for the rest of the game, turning his 7-15 KD into 57-15 KD. Extremely sus.
Most are in denial about it. Xdefiant 100% has SBMM. I've never and I mean NEVER had a casual match. You can't tell me there aren't ANY casual matches without 2-3 bunny hopping sweats in each game. Sorry but the truth will eventually come out.

Regarding the cheater problem, I feel like its gonna get a lot worse than it is rn. Idk about much console (ik there’s cronus) but in pc, the first 2 games there’s blatant cheaters just flying around the map with snipers killing everyone. Especially if you look at Siege’s history with cheaters, can’t imagine what it would look like in XDefiant.
I don't know that I believe this game doesn't have SBMM. I played with my cousin, a completely new player. He got player of the game his first game, we won like 5 games in a row, like dominated. Then all the sudden matchmaking starts taking longer, hit detection becomes trash, and we're being matchmade with people playing as sweaty as if it was the finals in a tournament for their life. We lost every other game, and I spent the majority of the rest of the night not having much fun. Y'all really gonna tell me the cards were just dealt that way, with no outside interference? That we weren't in the easygoing lobbies first, then moved to the sweat lobbies because of how well we were doing? I just don't believe it.
I do agree that people take video games way too seriously. I don’t understand how some players are over level 100 and have all their guns to level gold. How pathetic is this addiction? These people are playing 12 to 14 hours a day. It’s quite sad.

Finally somebody with some sense about xd. I was starting to get annoyed by the people who keep acting like the game is so perfect and they don't see any issues at all and are just flowing effortlessly through the lobbies. My experience is I'm always on the team opposite of the sweats and my team doesn't even do objectives leaving me to fight multiple sweats at once while my team is everywhere like it's team deathmatch. If the team balancing could be better it would be perfect. That amd if the bunny hopping nerf is good enough we are good. And I can tell some people are definitely using scripts as always. You were the realest take ive heard so far.
Me and my homie experienced that earlier in my stream. Someone was using the healer class character, with like a silver skin, moving as fast as the hot shot in that game mode, without being the hot shot, and their aim while moving that fast was pinpoint and they seemed to always know where everyone was
I just got through about 12 games just now, top-fragging against a bunch of demons with godlike aim and have a sixth sense, and all my team left and had late join people who were shit. Heavily feel like team balancing is screwing me over since i always seem to get the worst teammates ever.
It only gets better when you level up the guns. The trouble is that it takes too long. Meanwhile you get destroyed by the try hard sweats who've been playing it nonstop since launch.

Ran into hackers a couple days ago on xDefiant it’s really sad that we are in this stage of gaming where people just openly use cheats with no shame at all. Over all the cheating bugs me a lot because of how many games got ruined by cheaters that people can stop playing.(depending on the severity)
So far I’m absolutely loving Xdefiant and it’s honestly the type of game I’ve waited for sooo many years you honestly have no idea. It has some issues that need addressed but so far I am mighty impressed. A lot of bad players are also being exposed in this game cause SBMM in all games has protected them for so long now 🤣🤣🤣 I love the feeling of progression in terms of skill in this game.!
im knocking on the door of lvl 60 in the game and working my way through the guns instead of going straight for the "meta" crutches so im having a rough time lol , but the core of the game is good but imho i dont know how it was released as the hit detection is the same as the trials and tests despite them working on it for a year now !. they admitted there is a hit detection problem and have done updates but its the same. shot around corners no improvement. health bars were telling lies we have fixed this , but im getting hits before i get gunned down and they still have 100 health !. the list goes on and on and on.
To me it’s obvious that there is no sbmm, but as a solo player with a 2.4k/d - it’s just obvious when you’re playing vs a stack. This game is meant and pushes for teamwork. It’s like overwatch. You aren’t gonna 1v4 if they’re playing well together and using their abilities together and I think that’s great
I wish more players just prioritize the objective rather trying to drop the most bodies. It’s like most players are thinking “Someone will do the objective I’ll just get kills”. Then end up doing dog 💩 for both objective score and K/D cause they were competing for kills. The kills will come naturally just playing the objective 😂
I joined a lobby yesterday and this dude had obvious speed hacks. He fried me and I saw his outline through the wall and he was moving so fast his character was in a standing animation. I immediately left. Lmao
I’m not gonna lie,it does feel like there’s SBMM to me. It’s either that or that I just don’t have any weapons leveled up yet,but people sponge all my bullets then kill me in like 3-4 shots. It’s pretty frustrating.
Net code and hit reg is definitely a problem. And 100% you definitely need attachments. If you don’t have these weapons ranked up you’ll be at a disadvantage
They are hitting headshots. Headshots actually matter in this game and drastically lower ttk. Ppl also end up hitting a lot of limb shots on ppl bunny hopping because of how the hit box moves.
Because net code is terrible, sometimes what you see on the screen is not actually happening. In many cases, you see the player at point A, but in reality, it is already at point B. Bunny Hop makes this even worse, as on your end, the player is jumping in the air, but on the other end, they're already on the ground at point B and shooting at you. And no, this is not some random word that I put together to blame for my skill issue. I've tested this with other players in the lobby, and I can confirm at least 300~500ms of desync between the server and your receive end, and it could be worse if you lose your package. This issue can be easier to spot at range when you try to shoot the moving target. And since the game is hit scan and doesn't have any projectile velocity, it doesn't make any sense to lead your target to make it hit, unless the net code is broken. Another issue is that the player is using a cheat. Currently, there are health cheats that give you 200 health benefits all the time. And on your end, it shows the player only has 100 HP, but in reality, they have 200 HP, and it makes you feel that you don't do any damage to the player because the kill feed shows that they are either 94 HP or don't even lose any HP, when in reality, you just met a cheater with 200 HP. So while the game is fun, many issues of net code and cheating are slowly grinding me off to the point that it is not even fun to play anymore when you have to deal with constant BS.
Yep, 3 shot kills, minimum, with marksman rifles is absolutely unacceptable. Marksman rifles are virtually useless, especially against the bunny hoppers. Their fire rate is too slow. You can't manually quick fire with them, I suspect because there's a mechanism in place to prevent Cronus and Macros.
@@petershaw6727 back in Cod 4 and mw2, you can spam m14/g3 m21 without firerate cap and no one said it is over power or broken. It is simply the game doesn't balance right. Right now you are stuck in the lobby full of ACR and MP7 bunny hop.
The registration is my problem in this game I have to use a whole mag to kill one person but ppl would kill me with 1 or 2 shots and it's driving me crazy
The game seems to be more inconsistent with hit reg and me being insta deleted than on launch. I also fee the welcome playlist lobbies felt more old school COD. Post welcome playlist my games are sweaty AF where I was slamming people before. Idk if I believe that there is no sbmm and if the welcome playlist is what sbmm feels like in XDefiant..... Activision went after that Fortnite money and say to hell with the hardcore fan base. They continued to ignore legitimate concerns with loud footsteps in 2019. Gamers paid $70+ on a dlc thinking we were getting a whole new game(WM3). And sbmm was the icing on the cake although we were dealing with that for the past 4-5 years and not knowing it. NBA 2K thought they were too big to fail and the player count is dismal. Only a matter of time before COD suffer the same consequences. I think they’re feeling the heat and sending goons to talk down on XDefiant.
I’ll be playing this game sooner or later but if there are mf’s running around with invisible cloaking (although momentarily) like I have seen on a few vids I don’t know how much I’ll like it. Mf’s are already “invisible” to me for a couple seconds during encounters on online shooters because my damn lag is so bad lol.
To many new comers are treating this game like cod. They try so hard to be at the top of the scoreboard thinking thats what makes them good. This guy had 80 kills and 22 deaths in one of the games i joined but his team still lost because they werent playing the objective.

You’re not wrong. The game has legitimate problems and anybody who says otherwise clearly has an agenda. When I say this, I mean when the game is actually working. If you find a game and and everything is running as it should but somebody is still struggling to get a kill, it’s a them issue at that point. But I get killed all the way around the corner so much I’ve raged off the game multiple times lol
my guess is that at least 1 of my probs is, is that COD was the only pvp shooter that I played right up MW2 and excluding vanguard. But also 90% of the time I was playing only hardcore TDM and kill confirmed. I would try dom every now and again, but it was always the same. Just being put on a team of dipshits that didn't do the objective while the enemy team did. Then there's this where it's only objective games with a slow as shit TTK. But that could just be a shit netcode they haven't fixed yet cause i'm getting so many damn hit markers and just as many hit-delays, and assault rifles being underpowered as all hell.
The funny thing is about the whole skill issue thing is the people that love cod always say to the people complaining “its a skill issue” yet those same people that tried xdefiant don’t like it cuz they struggle

Im a level 87 and been playing since launch and yes I struggled at first and now, getting a 2 or 2.5kd while playing the obj as much as possible is almost an every game thing and Iam improving daily. And I play late hours. There is no SBMM in XDefiant.

Honestly when If you use assault rifles you'd heavily believe there was sbmm and or the game had a massive cheating prob. I've only used the mp5a2 for a couple games but it's done better than all the assault rifles and it's only got 1 attachment. Don't get me wrong I didn't go off and go 30-0 or anything but i was a able to at least get a damn kill in a decent amount of time.

I'm feeling a bit exhausted from these fps. It's like almost everyone plays as if they're life is on the line. These dudes haven't touched a patch of grass in months. Then when you hear them on the mic they sound like goofy mouth breathers bragging about kd. I've had a few players already invite me to a party chat after matches just so they can talk 💩 to me. I'm a 3 kd COD player and after I went 64-13 my ping got extremely high and sweaty lobbies (happened more than once, maybe it's a shadow ban lobby for extremely high scores). I'm on MKB and I've played every COD since the first one. They aren't telling us something. I called SBMM in Fortnite before they admitted using SBMM. I can most always feel it... And yes cheats are definitely out for this game... My son is a pro player and noticed the same thing...
I really like this game, it has it's issues, but I do believe it will gradually get better. It's much more fun than MW3, it's not an easy game, but it makes you feel like you are working towards something. Their store is bonkers hella mad! A battle pass here and there is fine. I'd rather pay for the game so that the company can get paid, and we can stop seeing the crap in their store! 90CAD for that big bundle is NUTS!! But I understand the whole approach with F2P, I think I saw somewhere there are over 8 million players now, sooooo....I get it! But it has a ways to go to get perfect. the probs with xd imho :- poor hit detection. poor sound stage - you never really know where the gun fights are until you get shot in the back , its very directionless. footsteps - iv spun around only to find its either a team mate right next to me or its my own footsteps that have suddenly got louder , and when you do hear the enemy behind you its too late. pop in - i get a lot of graphics popping in after a few seconds when i load into a match. health bars - still telling lies despite an update , i get with a marksman rifle 2 shots on and then get gunned down by an smg and they have 100% health. gun balance - im hitting you across a map with an m16 or marksman and you hose me with a p90 ! , really ?. tac50 - dont worry we will add flinch , great , but that means you have to be able to hit them , add flinch and 10% ads sway and a few extra frames into ads to slow the quick scopers. bunny hopping - its ok we are adding weapon sway , how about you also make the second hop smaller and the third hop smaller still and stop hops 4,5,6,7,8 are stopped , that doesnt sound hard to do and doesnt nerf the jump into the ground unless you need it as a crutch. map design - its woeful , i now refuse to play dumbo and emporium as they are that bad. again the list goes on.

Finally somebody with some sense about xd. I was starting to get annoyed by the people who keep acting like the game is so perfect and they don't see any issues at all and are just flowing effortlessly through the lobbies. My experience is I'm always on the team opposite of the sweats and my team doesn't even do objectives leaving me to fight multiple sweats at once while my team is everywhere like it's team deathmatch. If the team balancing could be better it would be perfect. That amd if the bunny hopping nerf is good enough we are good. And I can tell some people are definitely using scripts as always. You were the realest take ive heard so far.

Me and my homie experienced that earlier in my stream. Someone was using the healer class character, with like a silver skin, moving as fast as the hot shot in that game mode, without being the hot shot, and their aim while moving that fast was pinpoint and they seemed to always know where everyone was

I just got through about 12 games just now, top-fragging against a bunch of demons with godlike aim and have a sixth sense, and all my team left and had late join people who were shit. Heavily feel like team balancing is screwing me over since i always seem to get the worst teammates ever.
I didn't like xdefiant but I only played launch day and I heard it got better after a few days

It only gets better when you level up the guns. The trouble is that it takes too long. Meanwhile you get destroyed by the try hard sweats who've been playing it nonstop since launch.

When I started playing CoD back in the day and I was trash, but I didn't give up and got way better. It's no different now. People will struggle at first but they can get better if they want to.
Ran into hackers a couple days ago on xDefiant it’s really sad that we are in this stage of gaming where people just openly use cheats with no shame at all. Over all the cheating bugs me a lot because of how many games got ruined by cheaters that people can stop playing.(depending on the severity)

It has some issues that need addressed but so far I am mighty impressed. A lot of bad players are also being exposed in this game cause SBMM in all games has protected them for so long now 🤣🤣🤣 I love the feeling of progression in terms of skill in this game.!
im knocking on the door of lvl 60 in the game and working my way through the guns instead of going straight for the "meta" crutches so im having a rough time lol , but the core of the game is good but imho i dont know how it was released as the hit detection is the same as the trials and tests despite them working on it for a year now !.
they admitted there is a hit detection problem and have done updates but its the same.

health bars were telling lies we have fixed this , but im getting hits before i get gunned down and they still have 100 health !.

To me it’s obvious that there is no sbmm, but as a solo player with a 2.4k/d - it’s just obvious when you’re playing vs a stack. This game is meant and pushes for teamwork. It’s like overwatch. You aren’t gonna 1v4 if they’re playing well together and using their abilities together and I think that’s great

I wish more players just prioritize the objective rather trying to drop the most bodies. It’s like most players are thinking “Someone will do the objective I’ll just get kills”.
Then end up doing dog 💩 for both objective score and K/D cause they were competing for kills. The kills will come naturally just playing the objective 😂

I joined a lobby yesterday and this dude had obvious speed hacks. He fried me and I saw his outline through the wall and he was moving so fast his character was in a standing animation. I immediately left. Lmao

As a solo player 90% of the time this game definitely has heavy team balancing 🤣 honestly it’s better than the alternative tho at the end of the day.!
I’m not gonna lie,it does feel like there’s SBMM to me. It’s either that or that I just don’t have any weapons leveled up yet,but people sponge all my bullets then kill me in like 3-4 shots. It’s pretty frustrating.
Net code and hit reg is definitely a problem.
And 100% you definitely need attachments. If you don’t have these weapons ranked up you’ll be at a disadvantage
They are hitting headshots. Headshots actually matter in this game and drastically lower ttk. Ppl also end up hitting a lot of limb shots on ppl bunny hopping because of how the hit box moves.
Because net code is terrible, sometimes what you see on the screen is not actually happening.
In many cases, you see the player at point A, but in reality, it is already at point B. Bunny Hop makes this even worse, as on your end, the player is jumping in the air, but on the other end, they're already on the ground at point B and shooting at you.
And no, this is not some random word that I put together to blame for my skill issue. I've tested this with other players in the lobby, and I can confirm at least 300~500ms of desync between the server and your receive end, and it could be worse if you lose your package.
This issue can be easier to spot at range when you try to shoot the moving target. And since the game is hit scan and doesn't have any projectile velocity, it doesn't make any sense to lead your target to make it hit, unless the net code is broken.
Another issue is that the player is using a cheat. Currently, there are health cheats that give you 200 health benefits all the time. And on your end, it shows the player only has 100 HP, but in reality, they have 200 HP, and it makes you feel that you don't do any damage to the player because the kill feed shows that they are either 94 HP or don't even lose any HP, when in reality, you just met a cheater with 200 HP.
So while the game is fun, many issues of net code and cheating are slowly grinding me off to the point that it is not even fun to play anymore when you have to deal with constant BS.
Yep, 3 shot kills, minimum, with marksman rifles is absolutely unacceptable.
Marksman rifles are virtually useless, especially against the bunny hoppers.
Their fire rate is too slow. You can't manually quick fire with them, I suspect because there's a mechanism in place to prevent Cronus and Macros.
@@petershaw6727 back in Cod 4 and mw2, you can spam m14/g3 m21 without firerate cap and no one said it is over power or broken. It is simply the game doesn't balance right. Right now you are stuck in the lobby full of ACR and MP7 bunny hop.

The game seems to be more inconsistent with hit reg and me being insta deleted than on launch. I also fee the welcome playlist lobbies felt more old school COD. Post welcome playlist my games are sweaty AF where I was slamming people before. Idk if I believe that there is no sbmm and if the welcome playlist is what sbmm feels like in XDefiant..... BRING THAT SHIT BACK!

Activision went after that Fortnite money and say to hell with the hardcore fan base. They continued to ignore legitimate concerns with loud footsteps in 2019. Gamers paid $70+ on a dlc thinking we were getting a whole new game(WM3). And sbmm was the icing on the cake although we were dealing with that for the past 4-5 years and not knowing it. NBA 2K thought they were too big to fail and the player count is dismal. Only a matter of time before COD suffer the same consequences. I think they’re feeling the heat and sending goons to talk down on XDefiant.
I’ll be playing this game sooner or later but if there are mf’s running around with invisible cloaking (although momentarily) like I have seen on a few vids I don’t know how much I’ll like it. Mf’s are already “invisible” to me for a couple seconds during encounters on online shooters because my damn lag is so bad lol.

To many new comers are treating this game like cod. They try so hard to be at the top of the scoreboard thinking thats what makes them good. This guy had 80 kills and 22 deaths in one of the games i joined but his team still lost because they werent playing the objective.

my guess is that at least 1 of my probs is, is that COD was the only pvp shooter that I played right up MW2 and excluding vanguard. But also 90% of the time I was playing only hardcore TDM and kill confirmed. I would try dom every now and again, but it was always the same. Just being put on a team of dipshits that didn't do the objective while the enemy team did. Then there's this where it's only objective games with a slow as shit TTK. But that could just be a shit netcode they haven't fixed yet cause i'm getting so many damn hit markers and just as many hit-delays, and assault rifles being underpowered as all hell.
The funny thing is about the whole skill issue thing is the people that love cod always say to the people complaining “its a skill issue” yet those same people that tried xdefiant don’t like it cuz they struggle

Im a level 87 and been playing since launch and yes I struggled at first and now, getting a 2 or 2.5kd while playing the obj as much as possible is almost an every game thing and Iam improving daily. And I play late hours. There is no SBMM in XDefiant.

Honestly when If you use assault rifles you'd heavily believe there was sbmm and or the game had a massive cheating prob. I've only used the mp5a2 for a couple games but it's done better than all the assault rifles and it's only got 1 attachment. Don't get me wrong I didn't go off and go 30-0 or anything but i was a able to at least get a damn kill in a decent amount of time.

I'm a 3 kd COD player and after I went 64-13 my ping got extremely high and sweaty lobbies (happened more than once, maybe it's a shadow ban lobby for extremely high scores). I'm on MKB and I've played every COD since the first one. They aren't telling us something. I called SBMM in Fortnite before they admitted using SBMM. I can most always feel it... And yes cheats are definitely out for this game... My son is a pro player and noticed the same thing...

I really like this game, it has it's issues, but I do believe it will gradually get better. It's much more fun than MW3, it's not an easy game, but it makes you feel like you are working towards something. Their store is bonkers hella mad! A battle pass here and there is fine. I'd rather pay for the game so that the company can get paid, and we can stop seeing the crap in their store! 90CAD for that big bundle is NUTS!! But I understand the whole approach with F2P, I think I saw somewhere there are over 8 million players now, sooooo....I get it! But it has a ways to go to get perfect. Game is garbage. If you play domination. You hold 2 flags and barely get points. But the enemy team hold 2 they get so many points. Awful game. If it wasnt free it would have even worse garbage.

When I played the MW2 even if I did good I either found myself pissed or really bored. But XDefiant I can hop on with my homies and even if I'm losing I'm having a good time.

Because I'm noob.... I Play more than 20 gamers I can't do more than 2 kill in a match.... So what? If its just continue like that the game doesn't let me learn the game so I will quite... poor sound stage - you never really know where the gun fights are until you get shot in the back , its very directionless.
footsteps - iv spun around only to find its either a team mate right next to me or its my own footsteps that have suddenly got louder , and when you do hear the enemy behind you its too late.
pop in - i get a lot of graphics popping in after a few seconds when i load into a match.
health bars - still telling lies despite an update , i get with a marksman rifle 2 shots on and then get gunned down by an smg and they have 100% health.
gun balance - im hitting you across a map with an m16 or marksman and you hose me with a p90 ! , really ?.
tac50 - dont worry we will add flinch , great , but that means you have to be able to hit them , add flinch and 10% ads sway and a few extra frames into ads to slow the quick scopers.
bunny hopping - its ok we are adding weapon sway , how about you also make the second hop smaller and the third hop smaller still and stop hops 4,5,6,7,8 are stopped , that doesnt sound hard to do and doesnt nerf the jump into the ground unless you need it as a crutch.
map design - its woeful , i now refuse to play dumbo and emporium as they are that bad.
again the list goes on.
